Lessons 434 to 445

LESSON # 434 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
God Loves Those Whose Deeds Are Good
Supplication Of the Pious
Prayer Of Sobers
Earnest Request Of The Goody
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 147 & 148 of 200, Section –15 (Part – 4)

147.  Their saying was only that they said: Our Lord! Forgive us for our sins and wasted efforts, make our foothold sure, and give us victory over the disbelieving folk.

148.  So Allah gave them the reward of the world and the good reward of the Hereafter. Allah loveth those whose deeds are good.
147.  Wa  maa  kaana  qawlahum

148.  Fa-‘aataa-humullaahu  sa-waabad-dunyaa  wa  husna  sa-waabil- ‘Aakhirah.  Wallaahu  yuhibbul-Muhsiniin.

Lesson

It is being narrated about those goody people (may Allah be pleased with them), who cooperated with the Prophets and the Messengers (peace be upon them) in the Path of Allah Almighty, that they do neither evade to sacrifice their wealth, body and soul, nor show laziness, nor feel weakness, nor they are restrained, and they remain steadfast. Even then, they are not proud. They use to bend their head of submission and gratefulness before Allah Almighty. Their method of praying from Allah Almighty is much big proof of their good disposition itself.

They begged most humbly, sincerely with their hearts and respectfully, “O our Lord! ‘ig-fir  lanaa  zunuubanaa - (conceal our sins and evil doings, draw the curtain of Your Mercy on our mistakes and ambiguities, pardon us from our weaknesses and forgive us for our sins). ‘israa-fanaa  fiii  ‘amrinaa  - (keep our wasted efforts secret also and forgive). sabbit  ‘aqdaamanaa - (make our foothold sure) bestow us steadfastness. wan-surnaa  ‘alal- qawmil-kaafiriin - {and give us victory over the disbelieving folk, who do not believe in You, who are against Your Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) and who are enemy of Your Religion (Islam)}.

It is ordained as reply of the above-mentioned supplication, “Allah gave them the reward of the world and the good reward of the Hereafter. Allah loves those whose deeds are good”.

       LESSON # 435 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Do Not Obey The Disbelievers
Disbelievers Will Make You Turn Back
Obeying Disbelievers You Will Be As Losers
God Is Your Protector And Best Helper
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 149 & 150 of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

149.  O ye who believe! If ye obey those who disbelieve, they will make you turn back on your heels, and ye will turn back as losers.

150.  But Allah is your Protector, and He is the best of helpers.

‘alaaa  ‘a’-qaabikum  fatan-qalibuu  khaasiriin.

150.  Balil-laahu  Maw-laakum.  Wa  Huwa  khayrun-naasiriin.

Lesson

The Muslims had become some poor-spirited due to accidental defeat in the Battle of ‘Uhud. Cause of this casual confusion became that group of archers, who disobeyed the order of the Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) by leaving the pass of hill. The Infidels and the Hypocrites began to reproach and accuse the Muslims by reaping contraband advantage from this situation and saying, “Observe, if you were true then your so many crusader companions would not be slaughtered. You do not obey completely to your Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), but you have followed the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) only for the purpose of worldly wealth and the booty.

Some Hypocrites began to admonish the Muslims in the veil of good will, “It’s not wisdom to fight against the Infidels, because you get much loss from their hands. It would be better if you do not dare like this in future”. It was possible that the Muslims would either become more poor-spirited from Islam due to these deceits and tricks or consider it as the defeat of Islam instead of their own defeat (let us flee to Allah). Therefore, Allah Almighty warned the Muslims, “Do not be deceived of enemies. They will turn you back on your heels towards the infidelity by reaping contraband advantage from your temporary defeat. If you would be taken in their commands, then you will fall again in that darkness of infidelity from where Allah Almighty has caused to come you out. Result of which will not be other than loss in the world and the Hereafter.

The Muslims were persuaded to follow the path of Allah’s friends in the previous verse. That is to say, “Do not turn back on your heels from the religion due to troubles and calamities. Do not leave the steadfastness and patience. Moreover, oppose face to face with your complete strength in the Way of Allah Almighty”. In this verse, the Muslims have been prevented to obey the evil-minded vicious persons, so that the Muslims remain acquainted and may understand their profit and loss. Instead of obeying the Infidels and the Hypocrites, the Muslims should call Allah Almighty for help. Because He is the best of helpers. Therefore, every person should obey Him and trust in His help. It is clear that the person, who has gotten the help of Allah Almighty, he does never need the help of God’s enemies.

       LESSON # 436 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Fear Of Islam In The Hearts of Disbelievers
Dignity Of Islam
State Of Islam
The Hell Is Hapless Abode For Wrongdoers
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 151 of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve because they ascribe unto Allah partners, for which no warrant hath been revealed. And their habitation is the Fire. And hapless the abode of the wrongdoers.

billaahi
maa  lam  yunazzil  bihii
sultaanaa. Wa  ma’-waahumun-Naar. Wa  bi’-sa  maswaz-zaalimiin.

Lesson

The Muslims were caused grievous hurt in the Battle of ‘Uhud and they faced the confusion, which was a scrutiny for them. They were told that they would not be entitled to proceed into the Heaven until they do not pass through the necessary trials and Allah Almighty does not deem that who have perfect Belief in Him and risks his life in His way.

Now Allah Almighty says, “We shall cast your terror and dignity into the hearts of infidels that they will not have courage to turn back on their heels and attack despite that you are injured and weak. In such a manner, the same thing happened. Commander-in-Chief of the Infidels’ Army Abu-Sufiaan fled from the battlefield with his Army. In the way, he thought in addition, “we have left thus a tired and injured Army. Let’s go back and kill them”. But the terror of the Right and the fear of Islam were dropped down as much in his heart, that he could not get courage to act upon his intention. On the contrary, the Muslim crusaders pursued them unremittingly up to “Hamra’- al-Asad” and after that time, they never provided them chance to happen the incident like ‘Uhud.

In fact, hearts of the disbelievers are weak whether they try hard. Because leaving The Creator they worship the creature. The real strength comes with the help of Allah Almighty into the humankind, from which infidels and disbelievers are deprived. Until the Muslims remained as true Muslims, their fear remained in the hearts of Infidel. Also even today despite the fall of Muslims, all infidel powers of the world are afraid of this sleeping injured lion. Now there is a dire need that the Muslims should make strong their powers of Belief, call Allah Almighty for help and success, follow the commands of last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and get their wasted power again from the beginning.

Sanulqii – (We shall cast) its origin is laqii  and ‘alqaa is its source, which means ‘to cast’, particularly to cast something in the heart. “S” means ‘very soon’.

Sultaanaa – (warrant) , in Arabic language it is used for warrant and proof.

 LESSON # 437 FROM HOLY QUR’AN

Trial By God Almighty
Allah Will Examine You Judicially
Scrutiny By Allah Almighty
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 152 of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

And Allah verily made good His promise unto you when ye routed them by His leave, until (the moment) when your courage failed you, and ye disagreed about the order and ye disobeyed, after He had shown you that for which ye long. Some of you desired the world, and some of you desired the Hereafter. Therefore, He made you flee from them, that He might try you. And yet certainly He hath forgiven you. And Allah is a Lord of Kindness to believers.

Lesson

Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) had described the Muslims before starting of the war in the battlefield of ‘Uhud,  “If you will have patience and remain steadfast, then you will get victory and obtain the mastery over the Infidels. Allah Almighty made up His promise in the beginning of the battle”. The Muslims stretched many heaps, slaughtering the Infidels by the Order of Allah Almighty. The Idolaters began to run away from the battlefield being stunned.

When the Muslims felt that they were succeeding and getting victory, they broke in upon the booty (the wealth of plunder). In the meantime, the archers made a serious mistake by disobeying the command of the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). When Khalid bin Waliid observed the hill-pass without archers, he reaped advantage and within a few moments, the map of the battle was changed.

The archers began to quarrel with each other. Someone said, “We should stay here and the others told that there was no need to stay there more. We should also collect the property of plunder”. At last, their maximum strength left the pass and went towards the booty. Then suddenly the Idolaters attacked from that pass. On the other side, the news regarding execution of the Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) became notorious.

Due to these entire circumstances, the weakness was born in the hearts of the Muslims. Resultantly, this cowardice arose. Some people inclined towards worldly wealth and property with pleasure, yawning of which was suffered by all. The Infidels, who were running away recklessly leaving the battlefield to escape, they returned, broke in upon the Muslims. Now the Muslims were running away themselves. The matter inverted due to this shortness, mistake and error. It was also a trial of the Muslims, so that the difference between immature and matured Muslims may be revealed.

         LESSON # 438 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Result Of Disobedience Of The Messenger
God Rewarded You Grief For Prophet’s Grief
No Sorrow For That Which Has Befallen
Allah Is Aware Of What You Do
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 153 of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

When ye climbed (the hill) and paid no heed to anyone, while the Messenger, in your rear, was calling you (to fight). Therefore He rewarded you grief for (his) grief, that (He might teach) you not to sorrow either for that which ye missed or for that which befell you. And Allah is Aware of what ye do.

khabiirum-bimaa  ta’-maluun.

Lesson

‘Iz  tus-‘iduuna – {When ye climbed (the hill)}. This word has been made from the word Sa-‘uud, which means ‘to climb’. Here it signifies towards a specific scene of the Battle of ‘Uhud. It was the situation when the Idolaters of Mecca attacked afresh, reaping the advantage from error of the archers in the Battle of ‘Uhud, and the Muslims were running away and climbing the hills. They paid no heed to anyone in the Hurley burley and the perplexity.

At that time, the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessing and peace be upon him) was calling the Muslims to fight according to practice, staying in their rear and retarding them from this cowardice and confusion. Eventually when Ka’b bin Malik (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) screamed, then they listened, returned and assembled around the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessing and peace be upon him).

gam-mam-bi-gammin – (grief for (the) grief). In other words, it may also be explained as ‘grief over grief’. In this sentence, it has been aimed towards that particular condition, when signs of defeat might be seen after the victory. The Muslims had grief on one side due to loss of primary victory and sorrow on the other side due to death and being wounded of their companions. Their third grief was a bad news becoming famous about murder of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessing and peace be upon him). They had to bear also the loss of the Booty. In the stress and strain of this grief, they lost their senses, even that, they could not listen to the voice of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

Allah Almighty knows the intentions and deals the affair according to it. The archers did not wish to disobey, but they considered at their own that, “We have completed the aim of the command of Messenger (grace, glory, blessing and peace be upon him). Now while we have got victory, we should get the Booty”. As though, they did not err intentionally. Therefore, Allah Almighty forgave them.

LESSON # 439 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Mercy Of Allah Almighty
Divine Favor
God’s Mercy
Security In Slumber
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 154a of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

Then after grief, He sent down security for you: as slumber did it overcome a party of you,
Summa  ‘anzala  ‘alaykum  mim-ba’-dil-gammi  ‘amanatannu- ‘aasany-yagshaa  taaa-  ‘ifa-tam- minkum,

Lesson

There is mention about another favor of Allah Almighty upon the Muslims in this verse. That is to say; they were martyred, happiness of martyrdom was in whose fortune. The persons, who had to go, they had gone and those people out of them, who were sincere Muslims and remained in the battlefield, state of slumber overcame them. The people began to slumber in the standing position. The sword fell down from the hand of Tal-ha (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) many times. It was hidden and apparent affect of peace and calmness, which was approaching upon the hearts of the Muslims during such incident causing great riot with the Bounty of Allah Almighty. After this slumbering state, entire fear and confusion of the enemies had gone from their hearts. This situation of slumber happened at that very time, when the Conquerors of Islam were much tired due to their wounds. Rumors about the slaughter of Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) had lost their sense and understanding.

yagshaa  - (overcame). The word gishaawah has come out from it, which means a screen, a curtain, a veil. Here it aims that Allah Almighty took them in the fold of slumber. After prevailing the slumber over Muslims, Allah Almighty removed their entire weariness and tiredness, and informed them that the time of fear, perplexity and disappointment has been finished. Now you are entirely in peace. Do your duty with complete satisfaction.

The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) assembled around the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and established the front for war. They observed very soon that the enemy was running away leaving behind the battlefield. Abdullah ibn Mas-‘uud (may Allah be pleased with him) says, “To overshadow of the slumber in the very nick of time of the battle was a sign of victory and success from the favors of Allah Almighty”.

It was the Bounty of Allah Almighty that He provided security and peace after coming of the narrowness, gave victory while certain defeat was in front, removed the possibility of subjection and refreshed the Muslims by removing their exhaustion, so that they may bruise the enemies of the Just after getting new spirit. In addition, He inspired with awe of Islam and fear of the Right in the hearts of the Idolaters. It was the reason that the enemies could face the situation while they had overcome.

If the Believers remain firm in their faith and confidence, show the steadfastness and patience, then help and victory from Allah Almighty remain with them always and the enemies of Truth return back on their heels falling short. Actual power and strength in the battlefield of crusade (Jihaad) is satisfaction of the heart and the height of aim and spirit.

LESSON # 440 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Treacherous Temptations
Hypocritical Dreams
Wrongly Thoughts
Thoughts Of Ignorance
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 154b of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

While (the other) party, who were anxious on their own account, thought wrongly of Allah, the thought of ignorance. They said: Have we any part in the cause? Say (O Muhammad): The cause belongeth wholly to Allah.
Wa  taaa-‘ifatun-  qad  ‘ahammat-hum  ‘anfusuhum  yazunnuuna
billaahi  gayral-haqqi  zannal-jaahiliyyah.  Yaquuluuna  hal-lanaa  minal-‘amri  min-shay’.  Qul  ‘innal-‘amra  kullahuu  lillaahi.

Lesson

Circumstances of coward and spiritless Hypocrites are being described in this verse, who neither used to care for Islam, nor of the Gracious Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), but they used to hold themselves most dear. They were absorbed in the thought, “how can we save ourselves, lest Army of the Infidels would attack us again”. How could slumber or sleep did it overcome them in this worry?

Sincere Muslims did not run away from the battlefield even after observing the danger and remained steady and staying with Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). To remove their fatigue and tiredness, Allah Almighty prevailed slumber upon them. It produced peace and satisfaction in their hearts. Being refreshed they again stood still against the enemies.

There was pretense in the hearts of Hypocrites. They used to keep their lives dearer than Belief and Islam. They wished to save only their own lives. How slumber could prevail them while false thoughts had encircled their hearts. They said, “Where promises of Allah Almighty have gone? Where is Divine help and victory now? It seems that Islam is near to end now. Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and the Muslims will not be able to go back to their homes now. As it has been described at another place, “Bal  zanantum  ‘allany-yanqali-bar-Rasuulu  wal-Mu’-minuuna  ‘ilaaa  ‘ahliihim  ‘abadaa (Nay, but ye deemed that the Messenger and the believers would never return to their own folks) - Surah: Fat-h (Victory) (section -2).

The Hypocrites used to say, “Nothing is in our control”. Although, hypocrites were true apparently saying such words, really nothing is in the control of human being. Everything is in the control of Allah Almighty. If He wishes to make something, He may do so and if He wishes to destroy then it is easy for Him to destroy. He can allow one to prevail over others or conquered, either make someone ruler or under control. But the hypocrites were considering something else as its meanings.

al-jaahiliyyah- (like the ignorant) from this word, the life before Islam is also inferred, because at that time, the Arabs neither had awareness of the religion, nor they knew the world. They were entirely ignorant and ill mannered.

LESSON # 441 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Hypocrisy Of The Hypocrites
 Hypocrites Hide Their Thought
Thought Of Hypocrites
Treachery Of The Treacherous
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 154c of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

They hide within themselves (a thought) which they reveal not unto thee, saying: Had we had any part in the cause we should not have been slain here.

kaana
lanaa  minal-‘amri  shay-‘um-maa  qutilnaa  haa-hunaa.

Lesson

It is being told continuously that the Muslims suffered a temporary defeat, extreme distress and anxiety after getting victory in the Battle of ‘Uhud due to fault of the archers. The venturesome Muslims remained in the battlefield and put a bold front, but the coward Hypocrites ran away leaving behind the battlefield. They began to say after this incident for removing their disgrace, “Such was the Will of Allah, what is our authority in this matter”? They aimed actually from this saying, “Our counsel was not complied in connection with the  battle. We advised the Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that the enemies should be encountered remaining in the city, but he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) went out of the Medina for war to carry out the instructions of the boiling young men. If we had some power and we would not be ignored then the Muslims would not have to get so much loss”.

maa  qutilnaa  haa-hunaa – (then we should not have been slain here), the Hypocrites determined the slaughter of Ansaar (real habitant of Medina) as slaughter of their own. It can also be meant that ‘why so much people should have been slain, if the victory and superiority were to be in accord with the Sayings of Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and why this misfortune would have fallen upon us?’ It is evident from the word haa-hunaa (here) that the Hypocrites used these words in Medina, because Abdullah bin ‘Ubayy had returned to Medina with his companions before starting of the Battle. It has come to notice from some historians that a Hypocrite had used these words in the battlefield. It can be so that some Hypocrites would not have been returned due to some advisability.

Although it was opinion of the Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) also that the battle should be fought staying in Medina as well as it was advice of the Hypocrites, but maximum young companions judged that they should fight going out from the City. Allah’s Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) wore the chain armor for this purpose. In this form, the Hypocrites had no any right to bring their men back from the Army of Islam. Entire decisions are in the Power of Allah Almighty. He gives victory if He wishes and gives defeat whenever He desires. It does not differ to fight with the enemy remaining in the city or going out of it.

LESSON # 442 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Purpose of Trial by God Almighty
Allah Might Try What Is In Your Breasts
God Might Prove What Is In Your Hearts
Satan Alone It Was Who Caused Them To Backslide
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 154d & 155 of 200, Section –16 (Part – 4)

154d.  Say: Even though ye had been in your houses, those appointed to be slain would have gone forth to the places where they were to lie. All this hath been in order that Allah might try what is in your breasts and prove what is in your hearts. And Allah is Aware of what is hidden in the breasts (of men).

155.  Lo! those of you who turned back on the day when the two hosts met, Satan alone it was who caused them to backslide, because of some of that which they have earned. And now Allah hath already forgiven them. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Clement.

‘afallaahu ‘an-hum.  ‘Innallaaha  Gafuurun  Haliim.

Lesson

It has been advised to the Hypocrites in this verse, “It is useless to cry over spilt milk, there is no gain of reproach and slandering, grief and sorrow. Allah Almighty has predestinated every person’s place, cause and time of death from the beginning, which cannot get out of the way. Even though you had been in your houses and supposing your advice had been accepted, even then those persons, who were appointed to be slain in the camping ground of ‘Uhud, they would have gone forth to the places where they were to lie, somehow coming out from their houses. It is Kindness of Allah Almighty that the people, who were killed in the Battle, they were martyred, the death of braves in the Way of Allah Almighty. It is not the situation to grieve and sorrow at this time”.

Then it has been declared that the purpose of this Battle was ‘to try the Believers and the Hypocrites so that the difference between the both may be revealed, pure and false may become separate, sincere Muslims get remuneration of victory and their hearts may be purified from thoughts, inside of the Hypocrites be opened and their hypocrisy become public. As ability of another goodness increases from a goodness, likewise Satan gets opportunity from a sin or an evil to excite the human being for other sins or evils. The devil trembled their feet in the Battle of ‘Uhud but Allah Almighty was Bountiful upon the Muslims and He saved them from miserable defeat.

LESSON # 443 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Tricks Of Hypocrites
Pretense Of Pretenders
Deception By the Hypocrites
Imposture Of The Pretender
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 156a of 200, Section –17 (Part – 4)

O ye who believe! Be not as those who disbelieved and said of their brethren who went abroad in the land or were fighting in the field: If they had been (here) with us they would not have died or been killed; that Allah may make it anguish in their hearts.

maa  qutiluu. Li-yaj-‘alallaahu  zaalika  hasratan-  fii  quluubihim.

Lesson

The Muslims have been advised that they should not place such absurd thoughts in their hearts like Hypocrites, “If we had been in our houses then we would not have been died or killed”. Bear in mind always that place and time of death is fixed since eternity. Neither it can be changed, not it can be delayed.

‘ikhwaa-nihim  -  (the Hypocrites), they were apparently Muslims. Therefore, they called the Muslims as their brethren here. In addition, because they have used these words in the style of well wishing, so the word ’ikh-waan is used in this verse. They said, “Our Muslim brothers died without any purpose going abroad, if they had been with us in their houses, then why would they have been killed”?

The Hypocrites had aim that grief and sorrow should be produced in the hearts of Muslims that, “Really we did wrong as we went abroad from our houses without thinking and plunged in to the war. If we would have acted upon the advice of Hypocrites and remained in our houses, then we would not have faced the troublesome.”

Although the Jews tried their best to produce sorrow and grief in the hearts of Muslims and used such words from their mouths, but the Muslims were not too much week that they would be taken in their words. On the contrary, due to such absurd talks, their secret was betrayed and their badness of intention manifested upon the Muslims.

Li-yaj-‘alallaahu  zaalika  hasratan-  fii  quluubihim – (that Allah may make it anguish in their hearts). Some commentators of Holy Qur’an have explained its meanings in such a manner that Allah Almighty released such words from the tongues and hearts of the Hypocrites, so that they would be left burning in the fire of that sorrow and grief, and they remain grieving until the Hereafter. Other grief they had that, “Alas! The Muslims did not turn like us, they did not listen to us but some of them were martyred and remaining returned with victory. Today in addition, much can be learnt from the incidents of the day of the Battle of ‘Uhud. Therefore, a field of battle between faith and hypocrisy, right and wrong will remain present always.

Maxim about Life And Death
God Gives Life and Causes Death
After Death You Are Gathered Unto Allah
Pardon and Mercy from God Are Better Than All
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)

156b.  And Allah giveth life and causeth death. And Allah is Seer of what ye do.

157.  And if ye are slain in Allah’s Way or die, surely pardon from Allah and mercy are better than all that they amass.

It has been answered about the presumption of the Hypocrites that If they (the Muslims) had been (here) with us they would not have died or been killed. Allah Almighty commands, “To kill and to bring to life is in my power of choice. None can interfere in it. When and wherever I want, I cause death of the humankind. There are many such people who remain in journey during their entire life, they attend fights, battles and do crusades in the Way of Allah Almighty, but they die at home. And there are many such people who just stay at their homes and when their death approaches, they leave their homes with any pretense and they are killed or slain there, where Allah Almighty wished. No matter how many plans and arrangements a man makes, neither he can delay these things, nor can he change. However, these sayings of the Hypocrites are absolutely redundant and useless that if they had remained at their homes, they would never have died.

Allah Almighty knows the secrets of the hearts and intentions of entire human beings. He observes whatever they do. He knows that, to which path the Hypocrites and Infidels are leading and to what extent the Muslims avoid to obey their sayings. Allah Almighty will grant rewards to everyone in accord with his/her deeds. He says, “If you are slain in Allah’s Way or die, your sins will be forgiven and blessings will be bestowed upon you. To get which thing, the Hypocrites and Infidels tried their best to escape from death, accepting death in the Way of Allah Almighty and getting remuneration in its return is much better than that thing. If you people will not come out for a Crusade in the Way of Allah Almighty and suppose, you are saved for some time, then will you never die or will not be killed?  You have to die in each condition. Then you all will assemble in the Court of Allah Almighty. At that time, you will know that the lucky persons, who died or were slain in the Way of Allah Almighty, how much blessings of Allah Almighty are sent upon them, before which worldly earnings of the Infidels have no value and the people who died at the infidelity, in which wrath they are involved.

LESSON # 445 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Gentleness Of The Messenger
God Loves Them Who Trust In Him
Clemency Of The Apostle Muhammad
Leniency Of The Messenger Of Allah
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 159 of 200, Section –17 (Part – 4)

159.  It is by the Mercy of Allah that thou are lenient with them (O Muhammad), for if thou have been stern and fierce of heart they would have dispersed from round about thee. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult with them upon the conduct of affairs, so when thou art resolved, then put thy trust in Allah. Lo! Allah loveth those who put their trust (in Him).
159.  Fa-bimaa  Rahmatim-minallaahi  linta  lahum. Wa law  kunta  fazzan  galiizal-qalbi  lan-fazzuu  min  haw-lik. Fa’-fu  ‘anhum  wastagfir
lahum  wa
shaawirhum  fil-‘amr. Fa-‘izaa  ‘azamta  fata-wakkal  ‘alallaah. ‘Innallaaha  yuhibbul-Mutawakkiliin.

Lesson

There was a great negligence from the side of Muslims in the battle of ‘Uhud. So, perhaps Holy Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) would be angry in his heart and he would have intended that he would leave consulting with the Muslims in future. Therefore, Allah Almighty recommended the Muslims in a light style. At first, He declared that they were forgiven, because anger and grief of Holy Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is only for Allah Almighty. Then He commanded, “It is a great blessing of Allah Almighty that he made his Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) so much civil, polite and lenient. If Holy Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) would have been stern and fierce of heart, they would have dispersed from round about him. It would not be sure that what behavior he would have adopted in the conduct of affairs. This nation might not remain assembled around him. If he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) would have called to account severely then they could not come even near due to shame and repentance. In such a manner, they would have remained deprived from a great goodness and blessing, and the Unity of Islamic nation would have shattered.

Holy Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) ignores their mistakes for their correction. Allah Almighty guides, “Although, Allah Almighty has forgiven them now however, you should ask me for their forgiveness for more satisfaction of their hearts. Consult with them for the conduct of necessary affairs. After consultation, when a matter is finalized and Intended solemnly then all of you should set up on it with perfect trust in Allah almighty because Allah Almighty loves those people, who put their trust in Him.

Hadrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) asked the Holy Prophet Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), “O Messenger of Allah! The matter, which we do not find in the Holy Qur’an and your traditions, which method should we adopt for that?” Holy Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) replied, “consult with only those, who are wise and worshippers of Allah Almighty and do not follow the opinion of anyone else”. Value of mutual consultation has been disclosed from this verse and Hadith.
