If they deny thee, even so did they deny messengers who were before thee, who came with miracles and with the Scriptures and the luminous Book

Lessons 458 to 469

LESSON # 458 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Result Of Hoarding
End Of Avarice
Stinginess Is Worse For Them Who Hoard
Hoarding Will Be Collar Of Hoarders On Doomsday
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –180 of 200, Section –18 (Part – 4)

And let not those who hoard up that which Allah hath bestowed upon them of His Bounty think that it is better for them. Nay, It is worse for them. That which they hoard will be their collar on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah’s is the heritage of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Aware of what ye do.
Wa  laa  yah-sabannal-laziina  yab-khaluuna  bimaaa  ‘aataa-  humullaahu  min-  fazlihii  huwa
khay-rallahum.  Bal  huwa  sharrul-lahum.  Sayu-taw-waquuna  maa  bakhiluu  bihii Yawmal-Qiyaamah.  Wa  lil-laahi  miraasus-samaawaati  wal-‘arz.  Wallaahu  bimaa  ta’-maluuna  Khabiir.

Lesson
Primary part of Surah ‘Aali ‘Imraan belonged to the circumstances of the People of the Scripture, (the Jews and the Christians). The event of the Battle of ‘Uhud  had been described in the midst of these lessons to disclose the condition of Hypocrites. Now from here the mention about the People of the Scripture has begun again, because the Jews used to become cause of more harmful to the Muslims and most of the Hypocrites also belonged to this creed.

Allah Almighty commands that those Hypocrites, who escape from the crusade of Islam out of the Jews, they also shirk from spending their wealth in the Way of Allah Almighty. But as it is not in their favor to get rein for some days in the world due to evading from the religious crusade, in such a manner, hoarding by stinginess cannot be useful for them. On the Day of Resurrection, this treasure, which they have collected by hoarding, shall become their collar in the form of torment.

The Muslims have also been warned that they should not slip away from paying Zakaat (Alms and charity) and other necessary expenditures in the path of religion. Otherwise, the person, who will adopt the custom of Hypocrites by hoarding, he also will be punished in such a manner. It has come in the Sayings of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), that those persons, who do not pay Zakaat, their treasures will be put in their collars like a frightful large serpent.

Allah Almighty has told a determined truth that, “Allah’s is the heritage of the heavens and the earth”. After death, you will leave every thing in this world. Therefore, every thing will remain in the possession of Allah Almighty. If any person spends for the cause (in the Way) of Allah Almighty, then yours will be a vast reward. Allah Almighty knows intentions and deeds of every body. He recognizes that who hoards and who is generous. He will grant retaliation according to the deeds. So, each person should spend with stout heart in the Path of Allah Almighty.

LESSON # 459 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Rudeness of The Jews
The Jews’ Presumption
Arrogance Of The Hebrews
The Hebrews’ Contempt
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –181 & 182 of 200, Section –19 (Part – 4)

181.  Verily Allah heard the saying of those who said, (when asked for contributions to the war): “Allah, forsooth, is poor, and we are rich!” We shall record their saying and their slaying of the Prophets unjustly and We shall say: Taste ye the punishment of burning!

182.  this is on account of that which your own hands have sent before (you to the judgment) and Allah is no Oppress or of (His) bondmen.
181.  Laqad  sami-‘allaahu  qaw-lallaziina  qaaluuu  ‘innallaaha
faqii-runw-wa  nahnu  ‘agni-yaaa’.  Sanak-tubu  maa  qaa-luu  wa  qat-lahumul-‘Ambi-yaaa-‘a  bi-gayri  haqqinw-wa  naquulu  zuuquu
‘azaabal-hariiq.

182.  Zaalika  bimaa
qaddamat
‘aydiikum  wa  ‘annallaaha
laysa
bi-zallaamil-lil-‘aiid.

Lesson
Another shameless villainy of the Jews has been described in this verse. Firstly, they did not use to spend in the Way of Allah Almighty due to hoarding. Secondly, whenever they heard the order to spend for the cause of Allah Almighty, they rallied upon it and became arrogant of Allah Almighty. When the verse “Man  zallazii  yuq-ri-zul-laaha qar-zan  hasanaaa” (Who is he, who will lend money to Allah without interest, which will be repaid at the pleasure of the borrower) revealed, they said, “Does Allah borrow loan from us? If it is so, then Allah is beggar and poor (May Allah forbid), and we are rich and independent.

It needs some close attention here that Allah Almighty named as loan to the money, which will be spent in the good works. Doing so, He proved His perfect Mercy and Kindness. He causes to bear the spending money (which has already been bestowed by Him to us) for our own welfare. He will not get any profit or gain while we shall be spending, then how can it be called “Loan”? It is only His Beneficence that He promises to pay us best retaliation/remuneration against our spending money for our own welfare and names this thing as loan. But the Jews began to get it as a joke due to their wickedness instead of accepting it as Allah’s Kindness and prated such foolish talk in the Dignity of Allah Almighty. He commands that He has heard these saying and He shall punish them on their arrogance.

They had been slaying the innocent and sinless Prophets. As they have spoken rude words on the Superiority of Allah Almighty, likewise they presumed in the dignity of Prophets also. Due to this reason, they deserved punishment of burning Fire of the Hell.

LESSON # 460 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Quarrelsome Behavior of The Jews
The Jews’ False Arguments
Absurd Reasoning of The Hebrews
The Hebrews’ Useless Objections
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –183 & 184 of 200, Section –19 (Part – 4)

183.  (The same are) those who say: Lo! Allah hath ordained us that we believe not in any messenger until he bring us an offering which fire (from heaven) shall devour. Say (unto them,  O  Muhammad): Messengers came unto you before me with miracles, and with that (very miracle) which ye describe; why then did ye slay them? (Answer that) if ye are truthful!

184.  And if they deny thee, even so did they deny messengers who were before thee, who came with miracles and with the Scriptures and the luminous Book.
183.  ‘Allaziina  qaaluuu
‘innal-laaha  ‘ahida  ‘ilaynaaa  ‘allaa
nu’-mina  li-Rasuulin  hattaa
ya’-ti-yanaa  bi-qurbaanin- ta’-kuluhun-Naar.  Qul  qad  jaaa-‘akum   rusulum-min-qablii  bil-Bayyinaati  wa  billazii  qultum
falima  qatal-tumuu-hum  ‘in- kintum  saadiqiin.

184.  Fa-‘in-  kazza-buuka  faqad  kuzziba  rusulum-min-  qablika  jaaa-‘uu  bil-Bayyinaati  waz-Zuburi  wal-Kitaabil-Muniir.

Lesson
Qurbaanin – (an offering, a sacrifice), during the ancient times, some Messengers (peace be upon them) were given this miracle that when they used to offer or sacrifice anything in the Name of Allah Almighty, at that time a fire (from heaven) used to devour that particular thing. That devouring of the thing by the fire was considered a sign of acceptance of the offering or sacrifice by Allah Almighty. An event which belonged to Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him) like this has been recorded in the present Bible. The Jews caught an evasion from it and said to the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that Allah Almighty has told them that they should not believe in that Prophet (peace be upon him), who does not have this miracle.

It was a false evasion of the Jews. There was no order of this type in any Scripture. Neither it exists today, nor can it be proved in respect of every Prophet (peace be upon him). Allah Almighty has bestowed the miracle to each Prophet (peace be upon him) separately, which were suitable according to his circumstances respectively. Therefore, Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) said to the Jews, “If you are true to your promise and you do not believe in any Prophet (peace be upon him) till the time that you do not see this miracle in to him, then tell me ‘why did you slay those ancient Prophets (peace be upon them), who had brought the tokens of their truth, and they had also this specific miracle? The condition, which is being stipulated by you, that is only a pretense and trick”.

Allah Almighty satisfied His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that he would not be sad and sorrowful due to those people’s absurd reasoning and perverseness. Many Prophets and Messengers (peace be upon them) were sent before you, who were falsified by the people.

LESSON # 461 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Taste Of Death
This Life Is Only A Deceptive Provision Of Vanity
Every Soul Will Taste Of Death
He Is Triumphant, Who Is Removed From Fire
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –185 of 200, Section –19 (Part – 4)

Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter Paradise, he indeed is triumphant. And the life of this world is nothing but a deceptive provision of vanity.
Kullu  nafsin-  zaaa-‘iqatul- mawt.  Wa  ‘innamaa  tu-waffaw-na  ‘ujuurakum  Yawmal-Qiyaamah.  Faman-  zuhziha  ‘aninnaari  wa  ‘ud-khilal-Jannata  faqad  faaz.  Wa  mal-hayaa-tuddun-yaaa  ‘illaa  mataa-‘ul-guruur.

Lesson
The reality has been manifested in this verse that every living being and soul would have to taste of death one or the other day. The creature, which is born once in the world, mortality/death is compulsory for that. Permanence is not for any existence but Allah Almighty. Although this truth has been cleared earlier, but here it is being mentioned particularly for those people who hold fondly their wealth in their arms instead of spending it in the Way of Allah Almighty and use to collect it heaps over heaps. When they will taste of death, their entire wealth and property, gold, silver and money will be dropped down here, in this world and they will be buried in to their graves empty-handed. Neither their wealth can postpone their death, nor can it keep them away from the severe bodily suffering in their graves. Therefore, they should keep the love with Allah’s creature, leaving the love of wealth.

mataa-‘ul-guruur – (a deceptive provision of vanity). Mataa means provisions, property, real capital, funds etc. guruur means deceptive, alluring. The person, who is boaster, is called proud or arrogant because he is involved in deception about himself. He imagines something better about himself, which actually he is not.

Temporary spring and pleasantness of life are the things of imposture. Many ignorant people forget their future (the Day of Resurrection) due to exciting beauties and apparent decoration, and make their aim of life only to this world. They wish to get provision and wealth from each source either that is lawful or unlawful. Selfishness, greed and sensuality become their habit. They consider that success of this world is perhaps real success, whereas actual success of humankind is to escape from the anguish of Allah Almighty and to get the delight (Paradise). No success can be gotten remaining out from the Paradise. Good working, worship of Allah Almighty and sacrifice make a man deserving of the Paradise.

LESSON # 462 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Trial In Property And Persons
Wrong Hearing From The People Of The Scripture
Work Of Strong Determinations Is To Ward Off (Evil)
You Will Be Tried In Your Property And Persons
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –186 of 200, Section –19 (Part – 4)

Assuredly ye will be tried in your property and in your persons, and ye will hear much wrong from those who were given the Scripture before you, and from the idolaters. But if ye persevere and ward off (evil), surely it is a work of strong determinations.
Latubla-wunna  fiii  ‘am-waali-kum  wa  ‘anfusikum,  wa  latasma-‘unna  minallaziina  ‘uutul- Kitaaba  min-  qablikum  wa  minallaziina
‘ashrakuuu  ‘azan-kasiiraa.  Wa  ‘in-tasbiruu  wa  tattaquu  fa-‘inna  zaalika  min   ‘azmil-‘umuur.

Lesson
The Muslims have been addressed in this verse that, “As you have sacrificed earlier your property and your persons, and you were being tried, likewise you will be tried in both things in future too and you would have to sacrifice in each respect. Your life may be exposed to imminent danger at any time and you would have to risk it, you are wounded, you suffer imprisonment, Diseases and sickness attack you, your properties are destroyed and your near relatives slip away. You would have to bear different kinds of troubles and difficulties. You would have to hear many wrong and vexing talks from the People of the Scripture and the Idolaters. Remember that it is very necessary to have patience and God-fearing for passing through these entire trials. If you will stand face to face these severities with steadfastness and sobriety, then really it will be a work of strong determinations.

It has been known through a Saying of the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that this verse was revealed before the commencement of the Battle of Badr. The order regarding war for self-defense and slaying was revealed afterwards. However, if there is either battle or peace, it is compulsory in all conditions to adopt patience and God-fearing.

Another Saying of the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) teaches us that this world is a paradise for the Infidels and prison for the Believers. Its reason is that Allah Almighty puts the Muslims in different trials to teach them the life of abstinence and piety. The Muslims fear from God Almighty, run away from (ward off) evil and spring towards the Goodness. On the contrary, telling a lie, backbiting, lending and borrowing money at the interest, trying to get gain in each matter and earning through black marketing seems (apparently) very easy to the Infidels and Hypocrites. Moreover, for the lawful earning, a true person has to pass through very difficult  paths. The deniers of the truth oppose and hurt the good-natured people. But a person who is of good deeds, challenges all troubles and difficulties with patience and steadfastness. And he deserves the Paradise after bearing different trials from Allah Almighty. In short, actual secret of success in intricacies and calamities is hidden in two principles, which are Patience, steadfastness and God-fearing. The person who will produce these characteristics into him, surely he will succeed.

       LESSON # 463 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Covenant Of The People Of The Scripture
Promise From Those Who Had Received Scripture
Bond By The People Of The Scripture
Who Flung The Scripture Behind Their Backs?
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –187 of 200, Section –19 (Part – 4)

And (remember) when Allah took a solemn covenant from those who had received the Scripture (He said): Ye are to expound it to mankind and not to hide it; but they flung it behind their backs and bought thereby a little gain. Verily evil is that which they have   gained thereby.
Wa  ‘iz  ‘akhazallaahu  Miisaaqallaziina
‘uutul-Kitaaba  latubayyi-nunnahuu  linnaasi  wa  laa
taktumuunah.
Fana-bazuuhu   waraaa-‘a  zuhuurihim  wash-taraw  bihii  samanan-  qaliilaa.  Fabi’-sa  maa  yash-taruun.

Lesson

Miisaaqa – (a solemn covenant), it also means engagement, stipulation, agreement, bond, treaty, vow, promise, contract, time, period, reign and obligation. It is being mentioned here that Allah Almighty took two covenants from the People of the Scripture:

  • They would have to expound entire truths, facts and orders stated in the Scripture before the mankind.

  • They would neither hide anything from the Scripture and nor tell the people something wrong.

It has been described in this verse that a solemn covenant was taken from the scholars of the Scripture that, “Those entire orders and glad tidings which exist in the Scripture of Allah Almighty, were required to be delivered in front of the people very clearly. In addition, they were forbidden to hide anything and neither they were to differentiate in the meanings of Its verses. But they did not care, broke their covenant with Allah Almighty for the sake of a little, contemptible and abject gain of the world, changed the words and meanings of the Scripture, and orders of Allah Almighty. They tried their best to hide the glad tiding regarding the last Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). As they used to hoard their wealth and revenue, like this they also were misers in spreading the Knowledge. They aimed only to collect the assets and property of the world. The scholars of the Muslims have been warned too through this verse that they should not do such deed for the worldly rank and wealth.

An admonitory lesson exists in this verse also for the Muslim commentators and interpreters that they should not become criminals of hiding the verses and tokens of Allah Almighty like those who had received the Scripture (the scholars of the Jews and the Christians). Islam is a universal truth and it is not possible to hide this truth. Anyhow, this truth shall become public and overcome upon entire false religions.

Allah Almighty has told the facts and events of previous nations for the purpose that we should get warning from them. That, which happened with others, can be with us too. Divine nature, that is to say; the Law of Truth remained always only one, while Allah Almighty has commanded Himself, “Laa  tab-diila  li-khal-qillaah”.

LESSON # 464 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Triumphing Perceptions
Wa  Lillaahi  Mulkus-samaa-waati  Wal-‘arz
Only Allah Is Supreme Ruler
Wallaahu  ‘Alaa  Kulli  Shay-‘in  Qadiir
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –188 & 189 of 200, Section –19 (Part – 4)

188.  Think not that those who exult in what they have given, and love to be praised for what they have not done – think not, they are in safety from the doom. And a painful doom is theirs.

189.  Unto Allah belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Able to do all things.
188.  Laa  tahsa-bannallaziina  yafrahuuna  bimaaa  ‘ataw-wa  yuhibbuuna  ‘any-yuhmaduu  bimaa lam yaf-‘aluu  falaa tahsa-bannahum-  bimafaazatim-minal-‘azaab.  Wa  lahum  ‘azaa-bun  ‘aliim.

189.  Wa  lillaahi  mulkus-samaa-waati  wal-‘arz.  Wallaahu  ‘alaa  kulli shay-‘in-  Qadiir.

Lesson

The religious scholars of the Jews used to take bribe from the public, tell them false tenets and think that nobody can observe their ingenuity. They used to hope that the people would praise them that they were supreme scholars and truth loving. On the other side, the condition of the Hypocrites was same also. They used to remain at home hiding themselves in the situation of crusade and be pleased at their cleverness that, “how we defended ourselves”.

When the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) used to return from the religious crusade, then the above mentioned people wished (by false evading about their absence) that they might be praised by Allah’s Apostle (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). It has been described in these verses that these kinds of activities cannot save them from the anguish of Allah Almighty, which has been waiting for them in the world and the Hereafter.

Those depravities of the People of the Scripture were signified in the first verse that:

·       They did not stand firm and flung the solemn covenant behind their backs, which was taken by Allah Almighty.

·       They were to expound the truth/Scripture to the mankind and not to hide it, but they hid it and gave false and cheap verdicts to the people. It was a very big crime to give the false verdicts, but they did not stop here and sold their religion and faith against a few coins, and ruined their world and Future at their own.

In what manner these people have fallen into an idiotically misunderstanding that they become happy upon their each lawful or unlawful deed. They think that their conduct and acts are elevated from error. It is its result that now there is no chance of their correction. Not only has this but they wanted to be praised for those acts, which they have not performed. As if they did not do any duty, even then, it was a planned scheme and they did not adopt sagacity and prudence.

Allah Almighty commanded, “Triumphing perceptions and childish solaces of those people will not be able to save them from the anguish of Allah Almighty. Sovereign Power of the heavens and the earth is only for Allah Almighty. How can they go out from it and where can they go leaving it”?

LESSON # 465 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Deep Thought In The Tokens Of God
Creation Of Every Thing Has Token Of Allah’s Sovereignty
Tokens For The Men Of Understanding
Heavens And Earth Have Tokens In Their Creation
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –190 & 191 of 200, Section –20 (Part – 4)

190.  Lo! in the creation of the heavens and the earth and (in) the difference of night and day are tokens (of His Sovereignty) for men of understanding-

191.  Such as remember Allah, standing, sitting, and reclining, and consider the creation of the heavens and the earth, and say: Our Lord! Thou createdst not this in vain. Glory be to Thee! Persevere us from the doom of Fire.
190.  ‘Inna  fii  khal-qis-samaa-waati  wal-‘arz  wakh-tilaafil-layli  wan-nahaari  la-‘Aayaatil-‘ulil-‘albaab.

191.  ‘Allaziina  yaz-kuruunal-laaha
qiyaamanw-wa  qu-‘uu-danw-wa  ‘alaa  junuubihim  wa  yatafakkaruuna
fii  khal-qis-samaawaati  wal-‘arz.  Rab-banaa  maa  khalaqta  haazaa
baatilaa.
Sub-haanaka  faqinaa  ‘azaaban-Naar.

Lesson

When any person of understanding thinks about the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the system of rising the sun in the east (the day) and its setting in the west (the night), then he has to believe that an Omnipotent exists who created the entire existing things. There is no such thing, which may dare before Him (the Creator) to strike out from its circle. Such people, who meditate, use to bear Allah Almighty in their minds morning and evening in each condition, and they do not be careless from remembering recital of His Praise and Names.

The people who think deeply say after remembrance and close attention, “O Our Lord! You have not created worthless and without any purpose this entire nature of the creatures”. Surely, this order of strange and skillful administrations will end at any magnificent result, as though, from here, their intellect thoughts about the Day of Resurrection, which is the last natural and logical conclusion of the present life.

We have known from these verses that thinking and meditating about the earth and the skies, and other things created by Allah Almighty can be advantageous and fruitful when resultantly the mankind turn their attention towards His remembrance and the Day of Resurrection. Those people, who incline toward material love after meditating in the above-mentioned things, they cannot be ‘ulil-‘albaab “the men of understanding” (wise and learned persons), whether the people of the world consider them the great scholars of the religion. Uncountable blandishments appear in front of us in our daily life; when we observe them, we are astonished and lost in wonder. We should understand from this entire God’s Work that at last we would have to be present in the Court of the CREATOR. Everybody should be prepared and earn instantly, which would be useful for that ‘on the Doomsday’.

LESSON # 466 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Call Of A Well-Wisher (Messenger)
Believe Ye In Your Lord
Our Lord! Forgive Us Our Sins
Rabbanaa ta-waffanaa  ma-‘al-‘Abraar
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –192 & 193 of 200, Section –20 (Part – 4)

192.  Our Lord! Whom Thou causest to enter the Fire: him indeed Thou hast  confounded. And for evildoers there will be no helpers.

193.  Our Lord! Lo! we have heard a crier calling unto Faith: “Believe ye in your Lord!” So we believed. Our Lord! Therefore forgive us our sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous.
192.  Rabbanaaa  ‘innaka  man-tud-khilin-Naara  faqad  ‘akh-zaytah.  Wa  maa  lizzaalimiina  min  ‘ansaar.

193.  Rabbanaaa  ‘inna-naa  sami’-naa  Munaa-diyany-yunaa-dii  lil-‘iimaani  ‘an  ‘aaminuu  bi-Rabbikum  fa-‘aamannaa.  Rabbanaa  fagfir  lanaa  zunuu-banaa  wa kaffir-‘annaa   sayyi-‘aatinaa  wa  ta-waffanaa  ma-‘al-‘Abraar.

Lesson
Those people, who either do not meditate in the tokens of Allah Almighty, or do not relate His Greatness after even meditation and deep thought, or incline towards the love of material due to becoming materialist, they will enter the Fire (Hell). As many days a person will remain in the Hell, so much he will be confounded. To whom Allah Almighty wishes to put in the Fire, he cannot find any helper so that he may be saved.

The people, who attain correct results after meditation and consideration in the Omnipotence of Allah Almighty, they turn their attention towards Lord Almighty, keep Him in their minds fresh. They say, “We have heard a crier towards Allah Almighty {Merciful Messenger (grace, glory, blessing and peace be upon him)} calling to guide us towards the goodness, Belief in Unity and worship of one God, and the Straight Path, so we inclined and believed”.

These people pray, “Our Lord! Forgive our big sins, and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous, keep us along with them and reproduce us on the Day of Resurrection with them”.

We should learn the lesson from these verses, try to understand the knowledge of the things created by Allah Almighty, and then keep remembering Allah Almighty with our tongues and hearts during standing, sitting, moving and reclining, consider the creation of the heavens and the earth, and say, “Our Lord! Glory be to Thee! Persevere us from the doom of Fire, forgive us our sins, remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous, who invite towards the guidance and the goodness, whether the people do not give ear towards their call. Allah Almighty shall confer the rewards for their goodness”.

LESSON # 467 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
A Reward From God Almighty
With Allah is the Fairest of Rewards – (Qur’an)
I Shall Remit Evil Deeds From Believers (God)
Remuneration For The Virtuous
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –194 & 195 of 200, Section –20 (Part – 4)

194.  Our Lord! And give us that which Thou hast promised to us by Thy messenger; and confound us not upon the Day of Resurrection. Lo! Thou breakest not the tryst.

195.  So their Lord hath heard them (and He saith): Lo! I suffer not the work of any worker, male or female, to be lost. Ye precede one from another. So those who migrated and were driven forth from their homes and suffered damage for My Cause, and fought and were slain, verily I shall remit their evil deeds from them and verily I shall bring them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow. A reward from Allah. And with Allah is the fairest of rewards.
194.  Rabbanaaa  wa  ‘aatinaa  maa  wa-‘attanaa  ‘alaa  rusulika  wa  laa  tukh-zinaa  Yawmal-Qiyaamah.  ‘Innaka  laa  tukh-liful-mii-‘aad.

195.  Fastajaaba  lahum  Rab-buhum  ‘annii  laaa  ‘uzii-‘u  ‘amala  ‘aamilim-  minkum-min-  zakarin  ‘aw  ‘unsaa.  Ba’-zu-kum-mim-  ba’z.
Sawaabam-min  ‘indil-laah.  Wallaahu  ‘indahuu  husnussa-waab.

Lesson
They pray from Allah Almighty who ponder and consider thoughtfully, “O our Lord! You have promised to us by Your Messenger (glory, grace, blessings and peace be upon him) regarding prevalence upon the Infidels in the world and dwelling place in the Paradise on the Day of Resurrection, Keep that promise, certainly You do not break the tryst.

Allah Almighty commands that He does not waste the work of any worker. “As you sow so you shall reap”. He/she shall get produce of any work, who will perform, male or female. Everybody of you will receive complete retaliation of his/her deeds. Those persons, who left their beloveds, relatives and native land in the Way of Allah Almighty, caused to plunder their property and wealth, were driven forth from their homes and suffered damage for His Cause, and fought and were slain, verily they are such people from whom He will remit their evil deeds. Verily He will bring them into the Gardens (Paradise) underneath which the rivers flow.

The best reward of good deeds and labor is from Allah Almighty and with Him is the fairest of rewards. Summary of Islam is that the mankind should remain attentive towards Allah Almighty in each condition, what he wants to beg, that should be begged only from Him and he/she should act upon that Guidance without any dispute which He has bestowed upon His most gracious Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

LESSON # 468 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Prosperity Of The Infidels
Infidels’ Success In Life
Mind Of Infidels That They Are Prosperous
Good Fortune Of Infidels In This World
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –196 to 198 of 200, Section –20 (Part – 4)

196.  Let not the vicissitude (of the success) of those who disbelieve, in the land, deceive thee (O’ Muhammad).

197.  It is but a brief comfort. And afterwards their habitation will be Hell. And what an ill abode.

   198.  But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for ever, a gift of welcome from their Lord. And that which Allah hath in store is better for the righteous.
196.  Laa  yagurrannaka  taqal-lubullaziina  kafaruu  fil-bilaad.

197.  Mataa-‘un-qaliil.  Summa ma’-waahum  Jahannam.  Wa  bi’-sal-mihaad.

198.  Laakinillazii-natta-qaw  Rabbahum  lahum  Jannaatun
tajrii  min  tahtihal-‘anhaaru  khaalidiina    fiihaa  nuzulam-min-‘indillaah.  Wa  maa  ‘indal-laahi  khayrul-lil-‘Abraar.

Lesson
Allah Almighty has estimated in order to find out difference between the result of Believer and Disbeliever. The Disbelievers collect the revenue/wealth lawfully or unlawfully and are proud upon it. The Muslims should not be deceived observing it. This world is as a place adorned with the blooms of springs for a few days. If someone causes to hear the punishment of execution after luxurious enjoyment for only some days, then what will he feel? The real pleasantness of life is that a person gets a place of pleasure for ever after suffering and bearing a little labor. If we compare this pleasure, success and comfort with that ‘place adorned with the blooms of springs for a few days’ then we shall be able to know automatically that which place is better out of the two?

Those people who used to fear from Allah Almighty, they would be given abode in the Paradise underneath which the rivers flow, as retaliation of their good deeds. They will remain in the Heavens forever and will be the guests of Allah Almighty. That is to say; they would not have to think about their provision, but every thing will be provided to them with respect in a state of ease and comfort. Reward of such fortunate people which is held with Allah Almighty, is very better.

Although the Infidels and the governments of the Disbelievers are seen apparently developed today, they appear prosperous economically, they have ease and comfort of the world, but these entire things are temporary. Their last abode will be in to the Hell. We should not grieve observing their prosperous and development. Those people who do not believe in Allah Almighty and His prescribed Divine Laws, they can never be pure from selfishness. Evidently jollity can be seen everywhere, but the enmity and envy has made among themselves too much deep room in their hearts that neither they can take some rest during the day time nor can sleep at night easily. Actually, they are in the condition of the agonies of death. Fear of one another has prevailed over their hearts and the arrogance has spoiled.

LESSON # 469 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Observe Your Duty To God For Success
The Principles Of Success
Success Needs Faith In Allah, Holy Books And Humble Before Him
Necessities For Attainment Of One’s Wishes
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verses –199 & 200 of 200, Section –20 (Part Thee Fourth of – 4)

199.  And lo! of the People of the Scripture there are some who believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto you and that which was revealed unto them, humbling themselves before Allah; they purchase not a trifling gain at the price of the Revelations of Allah. Verily their reward is with their Lord. Lo! Allah is Swift to take account.

200.  O ye who believe! Endure outdo all others in endurance, be ready, and observe your duty to Allah, in order that ye may succeed.
199.  Wa  ‘inna  min
‘Ahlil-Kitaabi  lamany-yu’-minu  billaahi  wa  maaa
‘unzila-‘ilaykum  wa  maaa  ‘unzila
‘ilayhim  khaashi-‘iina  lillaahi,
laa  yash-taruuna  bi-‘Aayaatillaahi
samanan-qaliilaa.  ‘Ulaaa-‘ika  lahum  ‘ajruhum  ‘inda
Rabbihim.  ‘In-nallaaha
Sarii-‘ul-hisaab.

200.  Yaaa-‘ayyu-hallaziina
‘aamanusbiruu  wa  saabiruu  wa
raabituu:
wattaqullaaha  la-‘al-lakum  tuflihuun.

Lesson
In these verses, such People of the Scripture have been described, who are sober and pious, who believe in Allah Almighty correctly, who have faith in Holy Qur’an, who used to prostrate before Allah Almighty with sincerity and humbly, who did neither hide the glad tidings and nor changed the Commands of Allah Almighty. Verily very much respectable reward for them is with their Lord Almighty. The Day of Account (regarding deeds of everybody – good or bad) is not at much distance but that is coming very soon. On that Day (of Resurrection) they will be remunerated completely.

A collective advice has been admonished to the Muslims at the end of this Surah (Chapter). That is to say; if you wish to succeed in the world and the Hereafter, then adhere upon the Obedience enduring even the harshness and the severity. Remain away from the evil deeds and sins; show your strength, perseverance and steadfastness against the enemies, keep protecting Islam, stand still and fight against the enemy and observe your duty to Allah all the times and in everything. If you did so, then it is sure that you got entire blessings and succeeded. Allah Almighty has admonished four advices and determined them the source of success at the end of this Surah (Chapter).

1.     ‘Asbiruu  - (Endure outdo all others in endurance, be patient) means first rule of success is steadfastness.

2.     Saabiruu - (be ready, instruct others for patience and be strong in fight) make other persons accustomed of the patience and determination too along with you.

3.     Raabituu - (continue in close contact and be united) mutual connections and strong relations are the stairs of success.

4.     ‘Attaqullaaha – (observe your duty to Allah) God fearing and abstinence is fourth principle of success.
