‘Innad-Diina ‘indAllaahil- ‘Islaam. {Lo! Religion with Allaah (is) the Surrender (Al-Islam) (to His Will and Guidance)}

Lessons 338 to 349

LESSON # 338 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Original Religion - Islam
Islam Is Fundamental Religion
Real Religion Is Islam
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 19a  of  200, Section –2    (One Half of Part – 3)

Lo! religion with Allah (is) the Surrender (Al-Islam) (to His Will and Guidance).
‘Innad-Diina  ‘indallaahil-  ‘Islaam.

Lesson

‘al- ‘Islaam – ( believing in the religion of Allah, obedience), literal meaning of Islam is ‘to deliver oneself over’. Due to this respect this religion causes to say Islam, because a Muslim affirms to bow his neck before the orders of Allah Almighty and entrust himself completely to One Most High God Almighty, as though Islam is the name of “Accepting” and Muslim-hood (Mussulmani) as “Obedience).

Diinun – This word has two meanings,
a. Retaliation
b. Religion

It means that method of meditation and action which is foundation for consideration and deeds of a person and nation. The Way of life which Allah Almighty has liked for His servants (Human beings), that is Islam, that is to say; subjection and obedience, whose perfect and last form clarifies in the world by Prophet Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).

In reality, all former Prophets (peace be upon them) brought the same religion named Islam. But in this regard which perfect in all respect, collective and universal commands and guidelines have been delivered by the last Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), those have preference in many ways from ancient religious laws. Therefore, these were called with the name of Islam in a special color. However, it has been proclaimed in this verse before specially Christians of Syria (Najraan) and commonly before the entire world that religion is only the name of one thing, that is, the person should surrender himself to Allah Almighty whole heartedly, and whatever order is delivered by Him, he should obey it without any hesitation.

Now those people who say the Prophet Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) as son of Allah Almighty (Let us flee to Allah), eat pork, slaughter the Prophets (peace be upon them), try to remove the true religion despite the good news from Prophet Moses and Jesus (peace be upon them), envy the true Prophet (glory, grace, blessings and peace be upon them), Have these people any right to say themselves followers of religion of Abraham (peace be upon them)?

For perfect example good attitude of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him), auspicious lives of Prophet Christ and Moses (peace be upon them) and in the last, very sacred life of last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) are complete role models for the humankind. Banishment of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him), opposing Nimrud, leaving alone his (peace be upon them) innocent child and wife in the wilderness and without water valley for pleasure of Allah Almighty, being prepared to sacrifice his (peace be upon them) son Ishmael in the Way of Allah Almighty. All these things enlighten his (peace be upon him) activeness for pleasure of Allah Almighty.

Enduring torture of enemies of God Almighty by the Messenger of Islam (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), migrating from his native land, fighting in the Path of Allah Almighty, clarify perfect subjection and obedience. These are the great and holy persons, who are imitable for human beings in all respect and to follow them is called Islam and obedience. May Allah Almighty make us able to do so. Aameen.

LESSON # 339 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Cause Of Misunderstanding
Reason Of Difference
Why Contrtadiction
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 19b  of  200, Section –2    (Part – 3)

Those who (formerly) received the Scripture differed only after knowledge came unto them, through transgression among themselves. And whoso disbelieveth the Revelations of Allah (will find that) lo! Allah is Swift at reckoning.
Wa  makhtalafal-laziina  ‘uutul-Kitaaba  ‘illaa  mim-  ba’-di  maa  jaaa-‘ahumul-‘ilmu  bagyam-  baynahum.  Wa  many-yakfur  bi-  ‘Aayaatillaahi  fa- ‘in-nallaaha  Sarii- ‘ul-hisaab.

Lesson

It has been manifested in the previous lesson that Islam is a bright and clear Truth. From which kind of arguments Messenger-hood of Prophet Moses, Jesus (peace be upon them), Torah and Gospel as Heavenly Scripture can be proved, better than it, strong and live proofs exist regarding Messenger-hood of Prophet Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him) and The Word Of Allah i.e Holy Qur’an. But their own Scriptures are giving evidence about the truth of Last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him).

Oneness of God Almighty is an obvious and understood subject. Contrary to Oneness, Ideology of Father and Son (God and Jesus) is only a meaningless thing. No scientific principle corroborates it. Now those persons, who believe in any one of the four Inspired Holy Books of Allah Almighty, falsify these conspicuous facts. If due to enmity of Islam they disobey the commands of Allah Almighty, then what can we say more about them that they are doing so due to only opposite, envy, obstinacy, greediness of rank and grandeur.

The dissension took place between the Christians and Jews or many sects raised out of them. Then the adversity put to end on reciprocal terrifying quarrels and wars. The history tells that its purpose was not only misunderstanding or ignorance. But at most times these sectarian contradictions grew due to love of wealth and property.

Those people who deny the orders of Allah Almighty, their punishment has also been told, that is to say; Allah Almighty will reckon these bad acts and mischief. And He will punish them severely. They will have to face the punishment in this world as well as on the Day of Resurrection.

Cause of such severe punishment is their enmity and disobedience. Woe is me that they differed at that time when the Knowledge came before them and the Reality disclosed. They did not join the truth when the reality was clear. But they opposed also the just due to only mutual opposite and enmity. The verses of Allah Almighty came before them, but they closed their eyes and went to the path of infidelity and denial. They forgot that, “Allah is Swift at reckoning”.

LESSON # 340 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Duty Of Messenger Is Only To Convey The Message
Only Preaching Is The Duty Of Prophet
Only Conveying The Message Is Duty Of Apostle
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 20  of  200, Section –2    (Part – 3)

And if they argue with thee, (O Muhammad), say: I have surrendered my purpose to Allah and (so have) those who follow me. And say unto those who have rejected the Scripture and those who read not: Have ye (too) surrendered? If they surrender, then truly they are rightly guided, and if they turn away, then it is thy duty only to convey the message (unto them). And Allah is Seer of (His) bondmen.
Fa-‘in  haaajjuuka  faqul  ‘as-lamtu  wajhiya  lillaahi  wa
manittaba-‘an.  Wa  qullillaziina  ‘uutul-Kitaaba  wal-‘ummiy-yiina  ‘a-‘aslamtum.  Fa-‘in  ‘as-lamuu  faqadih-tadaw.  Wa  ‘in-tawal-law  fa-‘innamaa  ‘alay-kal-balaag.  Wallaahu  Basiirum-  bil-‘ibaad.

Lesson

‘al-‘ummiy-yiina – (those who can not read, illiterate persons), here it aims the Idolaters of Al-Makkah, who did not know about the Heavenly Scriptures. Thus, except some counted persons all habitants of this sacred city were illiterate and ignorant.

‘al-balaag – (to convey (the message), intent from this word is to comfort the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), that “if these people do not believe, then you should not be thoughtful. Your job is to convey the message and invite only. It is not your responsibility to cause them to believe”.

The followers of the Scripture used to wrangle that “we are also Muslims”. They are being described in this verse that likewise hypothetical Islam is useless. Islam is that, which is held with the Last Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and his followers ((may Allah Almighty be pleased upon them). That is to say, the humankind should handover himself to Islam with the whole. Look at Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him), the refugees (Muhajirin) and habitants of Al-Madinah (Ansaar) (may Allah Almighty be pleased upon them). They sacrificed themselves, their wealth, children and wives, to the extent their entire desired and beloved things for the pleasure of Allah Almighty confronting the polytheism, immorality, wickedness and tyranny. Their eyes wait each time for the command of Allah Almighty that no sooner they receive any order, than they obey it. Contrary to them, look at yourselves; while you are alone, you accept that the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is on the right path. Nevertheless, you think, “if we believe in his Messenger-hood, the wealth and property of the world is snatched”. Anyhow, after knowing the  truth if you will not believe, that is your will, we have already believed.

After that the Idolaters are told, “Have you surrendered too or ready to surrender? If you surrender even now, then truly you are rightly guided, and if you turn away, then it is our duty only to preach Islam, to teach you distinction between good and bad, and to convey the message of Allah Almighty unto you. Allah Almighty knows internal and external circumstances of all”.

LESSON # 341 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Wicked Deeds Of The Infidels
Tricks Of Non-Believers In Allah
Mischievous Behavior Of Infidels
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 21 & 22  of  200, Section –3    (Part – 3)

21.  Lo! those who disbelieve the Revelations of Allah, and slay the Prophets wrongfully, and slay those of mankind who enjoin equity; promise them a painful doom.

22.  Those are they whose works have come to naught in the world and the Hereafter; and they shall have no helpers.
21.  ‘Innallaziina yakfuruuna  bi-  ‘Aayaatillaahi  wa  yaqtuluu-nan-nabiyyiina  bi-gayri  haq-qinw-wa  yaqtuluunal-laziina  ya’-muruuna  bil-qisti  minan-naasi,  fa-bash-shirhum-  bi- ‘azaabin  ‘aliim.

22.  ‘Ulaaa- ‘ikallaziina  habitat  ‘a’-maaluhum  fid-dunyaa  wal- ‘Aakhirati  wa  maa  lahum- min- naasiriin.

Lesson

ya’-muruuna  bil-qisti – (who enjoin equity), that is to say they guide the people for morality, manners and courtesy, preach for justice in mutual matters and are their true companions.

The Christians of Najraan (Syria) and other Infidels are being told in this verse that it is very big tyranny to fight against the Messengers (peace be upon them), other pious and Just loving persons, to quarrel with the religious advisers and slaughter them with cruelty being non-believers in Allah Almighty. They will be punished severely.

It has been known from a Saying of the Prophet of Allah Almighty (grace,  glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that the children of Israel martyred 43 (forty three) Prophets (peace be upon them) and 170 (one hundred seventy) righteous persons in a day and likewise they were counted in the list of criminals. Holy Qur’an is presenting these entire happenings for the purpose that those who say themselves the obedient of Allah Almighty should meditate that how much their ancestors were evil-doers. Deprive will be for them in this world and Hereafter. Their entire deeds will be of no avail and they will also be punished severely on the Day of Resurrection, and they will find there no companion or helper.

There are many things for our admonition in these events. We should escape ourselves completely from those sins and evils (crimes) which were committed by the past nations, so that the punishment in which they were arrested, that would not be revealed upon us. It is necessary for us that we should not disobey the orders of Allah Almighty, should not oppress the pious and righteous. Moreover, we should remain on the  Straight Path so that we may be successful in this world as well as on the Day of Resurrection.

LESSON # 342 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
False Faith Of Christians
Untrue Doctrine Of Christians
Wrong Belief Of Christians
Followers Of Christ Who Have False Belief
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 23 & 24  of  200, Section –3    (Part – 3)

Hast thou not seen how those who were given a portion of the Scripture are called to the Scripture of Allah (in their disputes) that it may judge between them; then a faction of them turn away, being opposed (to it).

24.  that is because they say: The Fire will not touch us save for a certain number of days. And that which they used to invent hath deceived them regarding their religion.
23.  ‘Alam  tara  ‘ilal-laziina ‘uutuu  nasiibam-minal-Kitaabi
yud-‘awna  ‘ilaa Kitaabillaahi  li-yah-kuma  baynahum  summa  yata-wallaa  fariiqum-minhum  wa  hum-mu’-rizuun.

24.  Zaalika  bi-‘annahum  qaaluu  lan-
tamassa-nan-Naaru  ‘illaaa  ‘ayyaamam-ma’-duudaat,  wa  garrahum  fii
diinihim-maa  kaanuu  yaftaruun.

Lesson

It has been described in these verses that when they are invited to come  towards Holy Qur’an, which has been revealed according to the mentioned good news in their Holy Scriptures and It has correct decision power of their contradictions and differences. Then some of their religious scholars turn away, whereas invitation towards Holy Qur’an is actually the invitation towards Torah and Gospel.

These people turn their faces from the guidelines and orders of their own  Scripture and make changes in to them in accord with their wishes. Neither they care for the good news revealed in the Scriptures and nor believe in the predictions mentioned there.

Then it was told that the reason of their too much strong desire towards evils and crimes is that they are entirely fearless from the punishment to be awarded by Allah Almighty. They have invented at their own different types of precepts and doctrines. Out of them, one thought is that at first, they would never be punished, and if they were punished, that would be only for a few days. Christians had made another false doctrine crossing all others. That is to say: Jesus Christ (peace be upon him) has already been punished against all sinners and evil-doers. (Allah Almighty preserve us from this type of thinking, because He (Allah Almighty)  is not unjust that the criminal escapes and the innocent is punished).

LESSON # 343 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Each soul will get what it earned
Result Of Deeds On Doomsday
As You Sow So You Shall Reap (In Hereafter)
Tit (In Futurity) For Tat (Earned In World)
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 25  of  200, Section –3    (Part – 3)

How (will it be with them) when We have brought them all together to a Day of which there is no doubt, when every soul will be paid in full what it hath earned, and they will not be wronged.
Fa-kayfa  ‘izaa  jama’-naahum  li-Yawmil-laa  rayba  fiih.  Wa  wuffi-yat  kullu  nafsim-maa  kasabat  wa  hum laa  yuzlamuun.

Lesson

From the beginning of this Surah the learned persons of the Scripture are being addressed. Particularly the Christians are being invited towards the Last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and His True Book (Holy Qur’an) again and again. But their behavior remained always to falsify each true and pious person and opposed them. They reached to the extent that they massacred the Prophets of Allah Almighty (peace be upon them).

On the other hand, the extent of their faith’s feebleness is that they consider themselves so much innocent that the Fire of Hell will not touch them. And if they are thrown even in to the Hell, they will remain there only for a few days. It is their personal doubt. This matter does not have any relation with the reality. How can a person escape from punishment, who has committed any sin or evil?

Allah Almighty has drawn their attention towards the Day of Resurrection and Its horrible results in this verse. He Commands, “Why are you forgetting that particular Day, when the entire mankind will be collected? How can be any doubt about the situation of that Day? Besides the Holy Qur’an, this belief also comprises in the parts of all religions.

On the Doomsday every person will get complete retaliation of his/her deeds. It has been revealed in the Holy Qur’an, “Famany-ya’-mal  misqaala  zar-ratin-  khayrany-yarah.  Wa many-ya’-mal  misqaala  zar-ratin-  sharrany-yarah”.  (And whoso doeth good an atom’s weight will see it then. And whoso doeth ill an atom’s weight will see it then). Nobody can escape from the results of deeds/actions.

Last sentence of the verse is “wa  hum laa  yuzlamuun (and they will not be wronged). Each atom will be reckoned and result of most ordinary work will be in front. If the humankind remembers, he will never think about the sin/evil/crime.

     LESSON # 344 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Ability Of Allah To Do All Things
Allah Is The Most Powerful
Supreme In Power Is Allah
God Has Sovereign Authority Over The Universe
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 26 of  200, Section –3    (Part – 3)

Say: O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! Thou givest sovereignty unto whom Thou wilt, and Thou withdrawest sovereignty from whom Thou wilt. Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt, and Thou abasest whom Thou wilt. In Thy hand is the good. Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.
Qulillaa-humma  Maalikal-Mulki    tu’-til-Mulka  man-tashaaa-‘u  wa  tanzi-‘ul-Mulka  miman-tashaaa’.  Wa  tu-‘izzu  man-  tashaaa-‘u  wa  tuzillu  man-tashaaa’.  Bi-yadi-kal-Khayer.  ‘Innaka  ‘alaa  kulli  shay-‘in-Qadiir.

Lesson

Maalikal-Mulki – (Owner of Sovereignty), Allah Almighty has described about this virtue of His Ownership particularly for the purpose so that the human being should perceive about His Powers and Strength. The humankind should not forget the Real Owner
(Allah Almighty) in the intoxication of his temporary and transitory worldly power, influence and dignity. So that four days’ moving shadow may not make him careless from the commands of Supreme Commander (Allah Almighty).

This verse of Holy Qur’an has a specific Peculiarity. That is, “there is description about Perfect Power of Allah Almighty and utmost limit of inability and helplessness of the human being in the manner that nobody  can deny”. It is the reason that our Muslim devotees use to tell their followers about this verse for repeating it as daily worship.

If there is need to mention this verse in connection with the Christians’ body of delegates from Najraan (Syria), then we shall relate it as, “O Christian Scholars! You are proud upon the honor and sovereignty of the kings, understand it well that entire sovereign of all the world and Owner of the dignity is Allah Almighty. Every thing is in His Hand. He gives to whom He wills and withdraws from whom He wishes. Allah Almighty has shown practical demonstration of this reality to the entire world, while He made owner of the treasures of Roman and Persian sovereignty to an inferior and poor group (of newly Muslims). Then what is the material kingdom and honor?

Allah Almighty transferred last place of spiritual sovereignty and honor i.e. Prophet-hood from the children of Israel to the children of Ishmael. The words of this verse are taught to the Muslims in the form of supplication. And it explained that the persons who were poor, they will become owners of the sovereignty due to their faith, and who were kings, they will fell in disgrace due to their bad acts. The good (of all kinds) is In the Hand of Allah Almighty. He is Able to do all things.

LESSON # 345 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Divine Power Of Allah
Omnipotence Of God
Allah Is Omnipotent
All-Powerful Is God Almighty
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 27 of  200, Section –3    (Part – 3)

Thou causest  the night to pass into the day, and Thou causest the day to pass into the night. And Thou bringest forth the living from the dead, and Thou bringest forth the dead from the living, and Thou givest sustenance to whom Thou choosest, without stint.
Tuulijul-layla  fin-nahaari  wa  tuulijun-nahaara  fil-layl.  Wa  tukhrijul-hayya  minal-mayyiti  wa  tukhrijul-mayyita  minal-hayyi  wa  tarzuqu  man-  tashaaa-‘u  bi-gayri  hisaab.

Lesson

This verse is also common with the previous in meanings and comprehension. Allah Almighty described His power and discretion in the previous verse that He is able to do all things. He gives honor, glory and government to whom He wills, and lets fall in disgrace and baseness to whom He wishes. He has repeated in the present verse too the reality that each type of change and possession in the world depends upon His pleasure. He causes the night to pass into the day, and the day to pass into the night and changes the weathers i.e. winter, spring, summer and autumn. Sometime He decreases the night, increases the day and then increases night, and decreases the day. For example, the day becomes of fourteen hours and the night of ten hours (in summer), and after some period the day becomes of ten hours and the night of fourteen hours (in winter). These all changes are in His Hand. The moon, the sun and stars cannot move a little without His consent and plan.

Besides increasing and decreasing the days and nights, He brings forth the living from the dead, and the dead from the living. First example is likewise to bear the bird from an egg and living child from the seminal fluid of male and female, and second example is likewise egg from the animal and the seminal liquid from men and women. He produces a learned person from the illiterate and a complete person from the unsound.

The children of Israel used to understand that the nobleness and seniority, which they had, would remain forever. They should know that Allah Almighty is Able to give honor and sovereignty to whom He wishes and Can snatch these things from whom He wills. If He desires to grow any perfect person between the ignorant, He is Able to do so, as He bore the Last Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) between the ignorant of Arab. The treasures of provision are also held in His control. He bestows countless and immoderate (wealth) to whom He wishes. The humankind cannot count His distinguishing, favors and honors.

LESSON # 346 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
No Friendship With Disbelievers
Disbelievers Are Not Your Friends
Friendship With Disbelievers Is Forbidden
Amity With Disbelievers
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 28 of  200, Section –3    (Part – 3)

Let not the believers take disbelievers for their friends in preference to believers. Whoso doeth that hath no connection with Allah unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them, taking (as it were) security. And Allah biddeth you beware (only) of Himself. And unto Allah is the journeying.
Laa yattakhizil-Mu’-mi-nuunal-Kaafiriina  ‘awliyaaa-‘a  min-  duunil-  Mu’-miniin.  Wa  many-yaf-‘al  zaalika  fa-laysa  minallaahi  fii shay-‘in  ‘illaaa  ‘an-tattaquu  minhum  tuqaah. Wa  yuhazziru-kumullaahu  Nafsah.  Wa  ‘ilallaahil-masiir.

Lesson

It was told in the previous lesson that Allah Almighty is Able to give honor and sovereignty to whom He wishes and Can snatch these things from whom He wills. Each kind of government and empire, prestige, honor and possession are in His control. Therefore, it does not suit the Muslims, who really believe in Him, if they increase friendship voluntarily or without knowledge with the disbelievers, enemies of Allah Almighty, and Infidels, leaving their Muslim brothers or considering them not enough. The enemies of Allah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) can never become their friends. One who opposes it, should think about himself that he has no concern with the love of Allah Almighty. Entire hopes of a Muslim should be related only to Allah Almighty.

Three forms of good behavior are possible into the Humankind:
1.   Friendship

2.   Apparent politeness

3.   Kindness and doing well

Religious Scholars have told that first form that is to say; real friendship with the Infidels is unlawful in all conditions. Third form (Kindness and doing well) is legal only with those Infidels who would never be ready to fight with the Muslims. Second form (Apparent politeness) is legal only under three conditions:

       For self protection

Trying him to be in Islam

In the form that you are a host, it means that when any Infidel comes to you as a guest.

Besides these, three forms, friendship is not allowed anyway to get personal advantage or wealth, but when there is danger that he will put obstacles in the way of religion then also no friendship is allowed.

Allah Almighty frightens the Muslims from His torment who keep friendship with the Infidels so that they would bear in mind that at last every person will have to go back towards Him. He will reward or punish in accord with one’s deeds and it will not be possible to escape from His grasp.

 LESSON # 347 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Repentance Of the Infidels
Longing Of Evil-Doers
Shame Of Disbelievers
Sorrow For Sinners
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 29 & 30 of  200, Section –3    (Part – 3)

29.  Say, (O Muhammad): Whether ye hide that which is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knoweth it. And He knoweth that which is in the heavens and that which is in the earth. And Allah is Able to do all things.

30.  On the Day when every soul will find itself confronted with all that it hath done of good and all that it hath done of evil; (every soul) will long that there might be a mighty space of distance between it and that (evil). And Allah biddeth you beware of Him. And Allah is Full of pity for (His) bondmen.
29.  Qul  ‘in-tukhfuu  maa  fii  suduurikum
‘aw  tubduuhu  ya’-lam-hullaah.  Wa  ya’-lamu  maa  fis-samaawaati  wa maa  fil-‘arz.   Wallaahu  ‘alaa  kulli  shay-‘in-  Qadiir.

30.  Yawma  tajidu  kullu  nafsim-maa  ‘amilat  min  khayrim-muh-zaranw-wa  maa  ‘amilat  min-  suuu’.  Ta-waddu  law  ‘anna  baynahaa  wa
baynahuuu  ‘ama-dam  ba-‘iidaa.  Wa  yuhazziru-kumullaahu  Nafsah.  Wallaahu  Ra-‘uufum  bil-‘ibaad.

Lesson

It has been described in these verses, “it is possible that a person may hide that which is his/her heart, but he/she neither can hide anything as such from Allah Almighty nor can cheat Him”. Knowledge of Allah Almighty is much vast than his/her thinking, He Knows every thing in the heavens and the earth. Even that any atom of the universe does not exist out of his Knowledge. On the Day of Resurrection, each goodness and badness of the entire persons will be before them. Character book of the entire life will be handed over to each person. At that time evil-doers and sinners will long for it, “would that the bad acts remained away from us in the world”. But, “It is useless to cry over spilt milk”. Allah Almighty warns through His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in these words: “Abstain from the evils and escape from those deeds which are forbidden. Do not hold dear to the Infidels”. It is Kindness of Allah Almighty that He terrifies us repeatedly from that horrible Day before time so that we may turn towards goodness leaving the badness. It is obligatory upon us that we should consider thoughtfully these orders of Allah Almighty, be saved from wickedness, badness and evils, be inclined towards good works, adopt the sobriety, fear always from Allah Almighty and cause to pass our lives in piety.

LESSON # 348 FROM HOLY  QUR’AN
Obey His Prophet To Love Allah
Following Up The Last Messenger
If You Love God, Follow His Prophet
Be Follower Of Last Apostle For God’s Love
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse – 31 & 32 of  200, Section –4    (Part – 3)

31.  Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

32.  Say: Obey Allah and the Messenger. But if they turn away, lo! Allah loveth not the disbelievers (in His guidance).
31.  Qul  ‘in-  kuntum  tuhibbuu-
nallaaha  fattabi-‘uunii  yuh-bib-kumullaahu  wa  yagfir  lakum
zunuubakum.  Wallaahu  Gafuurur-  Rahiim.

32.  Qul  ‘atii-‘ullaaha  war-Rasuul. Fa-‘in-  tawallaw  fa-‘innallaaha laa yuhibbul-Kaafiriin.

Lesson

Allah Almighty forbade from friendship with the disbelievers in the previous verses. Now it is being commanded that you should love Allah Almighty, but standard for love with Allah Almighty is hidden in perfect obedience and complete following up His last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). That is to say; if you wish to see, “Who loves his/her Real Lord, then he would be examined with the proof of obedience to Muhammad, the Last Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)”. How much a person follows the steps of Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), he comprehends the Prophet’s brought Light (Islam) as Flambeau of the Straight Path and follows this Light, as much his/her belief will be perfect.

He will get reward of love with Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) that Allah Almighty will begin loving that person. Due to blessing of obeying the Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), his previous sins will be forgiven and in future, he will deserve kindness and special attention of Allah Almighty. As though, there is no possibility of love by God Almighty for him without obeying the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

The children of Israel and the Christians used to say, “We are the sons and beloved of God”. Here it has been declared that the denier of Muhammad, Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) of Allah cannot be His beloved. Whoever wants to become the beloved of Allah, he should carry out the orders of Prophet (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

The Muslim Devotees have presented an astonishing point from it that Allah Almighty has recommended for His lovers, “If you claim that you love Me then follow My lover, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah Almighty be upon him). Resultantly I shall become your lover and ignore your mistakes.” He also warned, “If you did not obey Allah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), then you will be counted in disbelievers and Allah does not keep the deniers friend.

34.  They were descendants one of another. And Allah is Hearer, Knower.
33.  ‘Innal-laahas-tafaaa  ‘Aa-dama  wa  Nuuhanw-wa  ‘Aala-‘Ibraa-hiima  wa  ‘Aala-‘Imraana  ‘alal-‘aalamiin.

34.  Zurriy-yatam-  ba’-zuhaa  mim-ba’-z.  Wallaahu  Samii-‘un  ‘Aliim.

Lesson

‘Aala-‘Imraana – (Family of Imran), two famous persons named Imran passed away in the history. One was father of Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) named Imran bin Baseer. The second (many centuries later) was father of Mary (razii Allaahu ‘anhaa), named Imran bin Matan, maternal grandfather of Jesus Christ (peace be upon him). Here both persons may be inferred. Most scholars and philosophers have understood here the second Imran, because there is description about him in the succeeding verses of this Surah (chapter).

‘Aa-dama – (Adam), Allah Almighty created the earth, the skies and the entire universe with His vast Divine Power. His biggest creature is Adam (peace be upon him), who was made collection of many spiritual and corporeal excellence. Allah Almighty ordered the Angels (peace be upon them) to do prostration to Adam for telling dignity of his existence to the universe. He was chosen for prophet-hood. Later on it was given to Prophet Shiis and Noah (peace be upon them) respectively. Then it reached Messenger Abraham (peace be upon him) step by step. After Adam and Noah (peace be upon them), the people who remained in this world, they all were descendants of these two Prophets (peace be upon them). Then Allah Almighty selected Prophet Abraham and his family to bestow them the grade of Prophet-hood like Adam and Noah (peace be upon them), and the Prophets (peace be upon them), came after them, they all were from the race of two sons of Abraham (peace be upon him) i.e. Isaac and Ishmael (peace be upon them).

Zurriy-yatam-  ba’-zuhaa  mim-ba’-z – (They were descendants one of another), order of genealogy runs through the side of father. Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) was born without father. So it might be thought that he (peace be upon him) could not be counted from the race of Abraham (peace be upon him). Therefore, Allah Almighty informed by revealing the words Zurriy-yatam-  ba’-zuhaa  mim-ba’-z that these entire Prophets (peace be upon them) were descendants one of another. Because Imran, the father of Mary was from the race of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon them). Consequently, it proved that none Prophet is out of the family of Abraham (peace be upon them).

By describing Samii-‘un  ‘Aliim, it is pointed out that Allah Almighty is Hearer of all the supplications and sayings. He knows concealed and outward circumstances of all. Nothing is hidden from Him. He is informed about reality and characteristics of all persons. Therefore, His selection cannot be incomplete or wrong.
