Day and night are made only by Allah

Chapter “Qasas”- (The Story) - 28

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahiminash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

وَمِن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لِتَسْكُنُوا۟ فِيهِ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

73  وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ فَيَقُولُ أَيْنَ شُرَكَآءِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ كُنتُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ 74  وَنَزَعْنَا مِن كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ شَهِيدًا فَقُلْنَا هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ فَعَلِمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ ٱلْحَقَّ لِلَّهِ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ 75  

                               

73.  And of His Mercy hath He appointed for you Night and Day, that therein ye may rest, and that ye may seek His Bounty, and that haply ye may be thankful. 74.  And on the Day when He shall call unto them and say: Where are My partners whom ye pretended? 75.  And We shall take out from every nation a witness and We shall say: Bring your proof. Then they will know that Allah hath the Truth, and all that they invented will be lost from them.

73.  Wa  minr-RahmatiHii  ja-‘ala  lakumul-Layla  wan-Nahaara  li-taskunuu  fiihi  wa  litabtaguu  min-  FazliHii  wa  la-‘allakum  tash-kuruun. 74.  Wa  Yawma  yunaadiihim  fayaquulu  ‘ayna  shurakaaa-‘i-yallaziina  kuntum  taz-‘umuun. 75.  Wa  naza’-Naa  min-  kulli  ‘ummatin-  shahiidan  faqulNaa  haatuu  burhaanakum  fa-‘alimuuu  ‘annal-Haqqa  Lillaahi  wa  zalla  ‘anhum-maa  kaanuu  yafaruun.  (Section 7)

Commentary

It has been commanded in this verse: It is the Mercy of Allaah Almighty that He arranged coming of day and night turn by turn regularly, so that you may rest at night and work during the day time for seeking the means of passing life which Allaah Almighty has produced for you in the world by His Bounty. Then you should be thankful to Him on His such Favors.

Then it is commanded: Believing not in Allaah Almighty even after beholding such clear Proofs; is obstinacy. On the Day of Resurrection, We shall ask them: Speak! Where are my `partners` which you used to claim that those were your worshiped (apparently)? Although in fact you were not worshipers of them. But you were adorers only of own desires.

After that, it is commanded: Every Prophet (peace be upon him) will be present on the Day of Resurrection for describing the true circumstances of own nation. Then every nation will be asked: What was the reason that you falsified Our Messengers (peace be upon them)? They will not be able to reply. However, they will come to know that the Word of Allaah Almighty was true. They will forget every that thing which they used to say during their worldly life.
