Remuneration of Advice
Chapter “YAA-SIIIN” - (YASIN) – 36
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

إِنِّىٓ ءَامَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَٱسْمَعُونِ 25 قِيلَ ٱدْخُلِ ٱلْجَنَّةَ قَالَ يَٰلَيْتَ قَوْمِى يَعْلَمُونَ 26 بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ 27

25. Lo! I have believed
in your Lord, so hear me.
26. It was said (unto
him): Enter Paradise. He said: Would that my people knew-
27. With what
(munificence) my Lord hath pardoned me and made me of the honoured ones!

25. ‘Inniii ‘aamantu
bi-Rabbikum fasma-‘uun.
26. Qiilad-khulil-Jannah. Qaala
yaa-layta Qawmii ya’-lamuun.
27. Bimaa gafaralii
Rabbii wa ja-‘alanii
minal-mukramiin.

Commentary
After causing to understand the people
clearly like this, he (the third man who came from other side of the city,
running) said: While after thinking, understanding and meditating also it seems
that whatsoever the Prophets (peace be upon them) have been saying, is correct,
then disobeying them is entirely ignorance and stupidity. It is quite right
what they (peace be upon them) say. The Lord of all of us is Allaah
Almighty. Bowing before someone else instead of Allaah Almighty, choosing
any other than Allaah as god or ascribing plurality to Him also is
manifest error. What stubbornness would be more than it? Therefore, I have
believed in your and my Lord. Listen to me carefully: I believe that Allaah
Almighty is the Lord of the worlds and only He is One God.
He accepted openly, at that place where the Prophets
(peace be upon them) were present along with other entire common people of the
folk who too were hearing, that he was a Believer. Its object would be that he
should make the Prophets (peace be upon them) witnesses of his Belief and
instigate other all people by his act that they also should believe like him. But
they were careless and used to consider that everything was only this world. They
had forgotten everything due to their evil deeds. All of them attacked on that
one man and killed him with inhumanity.
The person, who is martyred in the Way of Allaah
Almighty, is sent into the Paradise immediately. Accordingly, it was commanded for
him: Bring him into the Paradise! After that he thought there too concerning
his folk and said: I wish my people could know of how my Lord has
forgiven me and placed me among the honored, then they entire had believed.
