Chapter “YAA-SIIIN” - (YASIN) - 36
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا۟ وَءَاثَٰرَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَىْءٍ أَحْصَيْنَٰهُ فِىٓ إِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ 12
|
12. Lo! We it is Who
bring the dead to life; and We record that which they send before (them), and
their traces. And all things We have kept in a clear Book.

12. ‘Innaa Nahnu
Nuhyil-mawtaa wa Naktubu
maa qaddamuu wa
‘aasaarahum. Wa kulla
shay-‘in ‘ah-sayNaahu fiii
‘Imaamim-mubiin.

Commentary
‘Imaamin – (the actual thing, the Path, a Spiritual
Guide), that is to say, We have recorded everything and kept in a clear
Register.
Most of the people do not believe in it that reward and
punishment of worldly deeds will be given in the life after death. When they
hear concerning Hell and Heaven, they say: These are only thoughts, and the
people who are entangled in such thoughts; their mentality is like children.
Any wise person cannot be deceived in such a way.
Holy Qur’an describes to such people with stability:
Behold! It is quite true. Reward and punishment will be given to every
individual according to personal deeds. You will harm yourselves if you will
not believe in it.
It has already been explained that all verses of Holy Qur’an
are solemn and correct in all respect. That is entirely true which has been
mentioned in it. But there is no cure of those who misapprehend. However, you
should cause to know them who desire to understand that there is no doubt in it
that Allaah Almighty shall bring the entire human beings to life again
after death.
It is commanded: Certainly We shall bring the dead to life.
Deeds of every mankind, which they did during this worldly life or effects of
their deeds which spread after their death, all are being recorded. Suitable
retribution of every deed will be for every person whether that was right or
wrong. Not only this, but Allaah Almighty is Aware of every that thing
which happened, which has been happening or which will happen. Because every
work from Him is done in accordance with an established order and arrangement,
so He has issued this Commandment that everything should be recorded in Lawh-Mahfuuz
(A Table on which the destinies of the world since its creation are written). Therefore,
there is no any such thing or matter, big or small which would not have been
written in it whether that belongs to Past, Present or Future. It is impossible for such a Mastermind that He
does not have arrangement for giving reward of good deeds or punishment of
wicked deeds.
