Man and his environment

Surah YUUNUS - 10 (JONAH)

 BisMIllaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Commentary

When the mankind was born in the world, the entire creature around him bowed before him due to commandment of Allah Almighty but the Devil (Satan). After that, Allah Almighty took covenant from Adam (peace be upon him) and all his children; who were in his back that “I am your Lord, forget it not, your first relationship is with Me. It is the right of this relationship that your further relationships with other creatures should be according to My Instructions. And their rights would be the same as I would have set up. If you kept your footing on the covenant, you would be promoted step by step in ranks, and a Day will come when you will meet Me”. The entire human beings accepted that “undoubtedly; Allah Almighty is their Lord, they will not turn away from His Commandment”.

Then Adam (peace be upon him) and after him; his all children passed through the stages of life. And before them, Prophets and Messengers of Allah Almighty (peace be upon them) put up the Ways of producing relationships with their environment and according to them; the Rules of Practice, during every times. And at the end, Allah Almighty collected those all Rules of Practice in His last Book Holy Qur’aan. And He sent His last Messenger Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him); giving him His last Word (Holy Qur’aan), that he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) should inform the entire human beings thoroughly about all relationships, their rights and responsibilities for as long as the Day of Resurrection reaches. It is called “Islam” that the mankind should comprehend correctly his relationship with Allah Almighty and other creatures, and which rights and duties are produced by them, he should perform them in accord with the Commandment of Allah Almighty and the Sayings of His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).
If he did not care the Commandment of Allah Almighty and the Sayings of His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) in performing his duties and keeping relationships according to Their commandments, used his instinct and false sense, made relationship with others according to own will, then according to old times, it is compulsory that he should be punished properly.

Laying own hold of things, considering that he is their master, ruler, possessor etc. is basis of mutual malice and spite, fighting and mischief.

Holy Qur’aan says: Nothing is of yours. Everything has been given to you temporarily; so that you should reap advantage from it, and its ways have been determined, abiding by the Instructions is called Islam. There is no other form of human’s deliverance except embracing Islam.
