Lesson
‘Irti-daad –
(rejecting), this word is from Radd, which means “rejection, to return,
vomit”. Murtad means renegade, an apostate from a religious faith,
deserter. Such a person, who rejects or turns away from Islam after embracing,
is called Murtad. It has been derived from the word “’Irtadaad”. ‘Azillatin –
(humble, to bring low, to make submissive), it is plural of zaliil, which has been made from zillat. Zillat means “softness, delicacy, tenderness, slackness, looseness,
clumsiness. ‘A-‘izzatin
– (stern, austere, harsh, cruel), it is plural of ‘Aziiz, which is from ‘izzat.
‘Izzat means “extremely plainness,
severe-ness, and harshness”. Law-mata (blame,
to find fault with, to censure, imputation of a crime), Laaa-‘im has also been derived
from it, which means “the blamer”.
It was told earlier that the
persons, who associate with other than the believers, there is a danger for
them that these disbelievers will incline them towards themselves by showing
their outward kindness, pomp and show, and they may be renegade from Islam,
feeling it apparently in a weak condition. Today it has been described very
clearly, “Islam is not your indigent to remain in the world, but actually, you
are needy of Islam for living a good life. If anyone of you becomes a renegade from his religion, he cannot spoil anything of
Islam. Allaah Almighty gives validity
to Islam that it would have to remain in the world and He will keep it up.
However if you will be renegade, then (in your place) Allaah Almighty will bring a people whom He loves and who love Him,
humble toward believers, stern toward disbelievers (who are enemies of the
humanity), striving in His Way, and fearing not the blame of any blamer.
Raaki-‘uun – {the persons who bow down (in prayer)}, It is plural of Raaki’ and its origin is Rakuu’,
which means to bow down, to request humbly. Hiz-bAllaahi – (the party of Allaah), the
company, the division, the community or the class of those people, who are obedient
servants of Allaah Almighty.
Allaah Almighty appoints the people for safety and support of His religion
(Islam), to whom He will. They should be thankful to
Allaah Almighty, who say themselves “Muslim”, that He has selected them as the
supporters of Islam. If they will be renegade from Islam, then it would be
meant that they do not have manners to hold up Islam, and they are not able to
be sanctioned as supporters and protectors of Islam. So Allaah Almighty will bring some other people for the greatness and
magnificence of Islam.
It is the Grace of Allaah Almighty which He gives unto whom
He will and gets the work of eminence of Islam from whom He will. His mercy and
kindness is unlimited, and He is All-Knowing about the capabilities of
everyone. Remember! Your real friend, and supporter can be only Allaah Almighty; His Messenger (grace,
glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) and those who believe, who establish
worship and pay the poor-due, and bow down in prayer. These are the people, who
are helpers and assistants of Allaah
Almighty. These are “the party of Allaah
Almighty. Bear in mind! This party of Allaah
Almighty and His helpers shall be victorious.
