Conduct of the folk of
Pharaoh
Chapter “Naml”- (The Ant) - 27
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah
from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتْهُمْ ءَايَٰتُنَا مُبْصِرَةً قَالُوا۟ هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ مُّبِينٌ 13 وَجَحَدُوا۟ بِهَا وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآ أَنفُسُهُمْ ظُلْمًا وَعُلُوًّا فَٱنظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ 14

13. But when Our Tokens
came unto them, plain to see, they said: This is evident magic –
14. And they denied
them, though their souls acknowledged them, for spite and arrogance. Then see
the nature of the consequence for the wrongdoers!

13. Falammaa jaaa-‘at-hum ‘AayaatuNaa
mubsiratan qaaluu haazaa
sihrum-mubiin.
14. Wa jahaduu
bihaa was-tayqanat-haaa ‘anfusuhum
zulmanw-wa ‘uluwwaa. Fanzur
kayfa kaana ‘aaqibatul-
mufsidiin.

Commentary
Mubsiratan – (plain to see, visible), this is
Feminine Subject from the word ‘absaar, which has come out from basar.
Basar means “eye’. ‘Absaar means “to render service as an eye for
others, to cause to understand, to warn”.
It is commanded: Messenger Moses (peace be upon him) went unto
Pharaoh and his tribe and did show them Tokens, which were so much clear that
after looking of them, there would be no room of any doubt. But they had become
so much senseless that they used to consider that every other person was inferior
to them. They were unaware of it that the mankind should work by remaining in
the limits of the humanity. This limit has been determined by Him Who is the Creator
of the mankind and Who has spared the human being in the world for some length
of time, bestowing him some power of option. Insurrection of those people
exited them that “obeying any other is just like accepting own defeat”, which
can never be so. Plea of not admitting stroke them that “it is such obvious
magic which is visible to everyone”.
It is commanded: Their denial was only due to haughtiness and
for the purpose that they might cross the line of humanity, otherwise their [inner] selves were convinced thereof that the
Tokens were true, in which there was not any conjuration. But there is
no cure of it that heart of the mankind accepts a matter as a truth, but his
haughtiness and stubbornness prevent him. This pride and stubbornness cause the
human being to be drowned. Behold the consequence of those wicked and
mischievous people. All of them were drowned in the Sea.
