83.  If Allah bring thee back (from the campaign) unto a party of them and they ask of thee leave to go out (to fight), then say unto them: Ye shall never more go out with me nor fight with me against a foe. Lesson

When any big work is required to be performed for welfare of the nation, generally it happens that some people from us are inclined to oppose it. If we really wish to do that work, then its best method is that we should never quarrel with the opponents, but try to bring together our fellow-sufferers and supporters, and increase our collective strength. Leave the opponents at their circumstances and let them do whatever they wish.

It has been described in this verse that if, after opposing first time, they want to keep very intimate terms with you, for their timely interest, then in the next time, you should be very careful, from having trust in them and being mixed with them. If your companions are strong then this behavior is sufficient to shake their foundation.

It is commanded that you must neither say to them something at your own and nor hear, but continue to strengthen and unite your group every time. But O Messenger (SallAllaahu alayHi wa AaliHii Wasallam)! Whenever, if you go unto them by chance, and their some intelligent people welcome You after observing that the attempt of the Muslims is successful, and they ask of Your permission to go out for fighting along with the Muslims, then You should say to them: “When there was occasion and necessity of your joining us, at that time, you sat still along with those who were sitting still and remained behind. Now, while we are not indigent of yours then why are you going to benefit us by suffering from trouble unnecessarily? Our purpose will be effected without you now”. It is better to be careful from deceitful people in such a way that one should not be entangled with them, but do one’s own duty.
