Faith mistake

Surah Baniii ‘Israaa-‘iil (The Children of Israel) – 17

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

                ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآؤُهُم بِأَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَءِذَاكُنَّا عِظَٰمًا وَرُفَٰتًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ خَلْقًا جَدِيدًا 98

98.  That is their reward because they disbelieved Our Revelations and said: When we are bones and fragments shall we, forsooth, be raised up as a new creation?

98.  Zaalika  jazaaa-‘uhum  bi-‘annahum  kafaruu  bi-‘AayaatiNaa  wa  qaaluuu  ‘a-‘izaa  kunnaa  ‘izaamanw-wa  rufaatan  ‘a-‘innaa  la-mab-‘uusuuna  khalqan-  jadiidaa.

       

Commentary

Rufaatan – (fragments, parts broken off).

There is no doubt in it that the person who is lover of the world only, he will try to press forward by pushing other people behind, and he will think: I should take every thing under my possession, and there should be none save me who may get control over the means of keeping everything under possession.

Commitment of such kind of people will be not other than quarreling and disputing with one another altogether. Their eyes cannot rise up from worldly matters. Such kinds of people are blind from all sides except the matters of this world. Their ears can hear only those sounds which are in favor of them, therefore; from the side of other entire sounds and voices; they are deaf. Similarly nothing can come out from their mouths save their personal greatness, pride and haughtiness.

Holy Qur’an desires to distract their attention from the worldly matters and draw their attention unto the Hereafter, so if such people will not disbelieve the Revelations of Holy Qur’an, then what shall they do? After death, they will be reproduced against their will, but that life will be totally different from this life. Whatever they used to see, hear or talk about which matters, they will observe there (in the Hereafter) nothing from them. Therefore, they will be as the blind, the deaf and the dumb. Obviously this punishment will be for them because they did not care for the Life after Death and remained their eyes, ears and tongues engaged in the matters of the world. They were unable to understand that “When they would be only bones and fragments after death then how can they be reproduced? In the same condition, the angels (peace be upon them) will catch and pull them unto the Hell and throw them into it. There, will be nothing for them but severity of doom, pain and restlessness. (I seek protection of God Almighty).
