Lessons
# 1 to 528 from Parts 1 to 4 of Holy Qur’an, Lessons from Chapters: 1.’Al-Faatihah
(The Opening), 2. Baqarah (The Cow), 3. ‘Aali-‘Imraan (The Family
Of Imran), and 4a. Some part of Nisaaa’ (Women).
I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast. In the name of Allaah
(God), the Beneficent, the Merciful. 1. Praise be to Allaah, Lord
of the worlds. 2. The Beneficent, the Merciful. 3. Owner
of the Day of Judgment. 4a. You (Alone) we worship. 4b. And You
(Alone) we ask for help. 5. Show us the Straight Path. 6. The
Path of those whom You have favoured. 7. Not (the path) of those who earn
Your anger nor of those who go astray. (So, Be it) (Amen).
2:7. Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and on their eyes
there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom. 2:13. And when it is
said unto them: Believe as the people believe, they say: shall we believe as
the foolish believe? Beware! They indeed are the foolish but they know not.
2:21. O mankind! Worship your Lord, Who has created you and those before you,
so that you may ward off (evil).
2:22. Who has appointed the earth a resting-place for you, and the sky a
canopy; and causes water to pour down from the sky, thereby producing fruits as
food for you. And do not set up rivals to Allah when you know (better).
2:284. Unto Allah (belongs) whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever
is in the earth. And whether you make known what is in your minds or
hide it, Allah will bring you to account for it. He will forgive whom He will
and He will punish whom He will. And Allah is Able to do all things.
2:285. The Messenger believes in that which has been revealed unto him
from his Lord and (so do) believers. Each one believes in Allah and His angels
and His Scriptures and His messengers. We make no distinction between any of
His messengers. And they say: We hear, and we obey. (Grant us) Your
forgiveness, our Lord, and unto You is the journeying.
2:286. Allah tasks not a soul beyond its scope. For it (is only) that
which it has earned, and against it (only) that which it has deserved. Our
Lord! Call us not to account if we forget, or miss the mark, our Lord! Lay not
on us such a burden as You did lay on those before us! Our Lord! Impose not on us
that which we have not the strength to bear! And pardon us, and absolve us and
have mercy on us. You, are our Protector, so give us victory over the
disbelieving folk.
3:185. Every soul will taste of death. And you will be paid on the Day of
Resurrection only that which you have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the
Fire and is made to enter Paradise, he indeed is triumphant. And the life
of this world is nothing but a deceptive provision of vanity. Our Lord! You
created not this in vain. Glory be to You! Persevere us from the doom of Fire.
3:192. Our Lord! Whom You cause to enter the Fire: him indeed You
have confounded. And for evildoers there will be no helpers.
3:193. Our Lord! Lo! We have heard a crier calling unto Faith: “Believe
you in your Lord!” So we believed. Our Lord! Therefore forgive us our sins, and
remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die the death of the righteous.
3:194. Our Lord! And give us that which You have promised to us by Your
messenger; and confound us not upon the Day of Resurrection. Lo! You break not
the tryst.
3:195. So their Lord has heard them (and He says): Lo! I suffer not the
work of any worker, male or female, to be lost. You precede one from another.
So those who migrated and were driven forth from their homes and suffered
damage for My Cause, and fought and were slain, verily I shall remit their evil
deeds from them and verily I shall bring them into Gardens underneath which
rivers flow. A reward from Allah. And with Allah is the fairest of rewards.

Lessons
# 529 to 995 from Parts 5 to 8 of Holy Qur’an, Chapters:4b. Some part of Nisaaa’
(Women), 5. Maaa-‘idah (The Table Spread), 6. ‘An-‘aam (Cattle)
and 7a. Some Part of ‘A’-raaf (The Heights).
4: 171. O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor
utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah,
Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His Word which
He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him; so believe
in Allah and His messengers, and say not “Three”. Cease! (it is)
better for you! Allah is only One God. Far be it from His
Transcendent Majesty to have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all
that is in the earth. And Allah is Sufficient as Defender.
174. O mankind! Surely has a proof from your Lord come unto you, and We
have sent down unto you a clear light.
175. As for those who believe in Allah, and hold fast unto Him, then He
will cause to enter into His mercy and grace, and will guide them unto Him by a
Straight Path.
The end of this world’s journey (life) is “Death”. It aims - the mankind
has arrived at his abode. From birth to death, he has to cross over a very
long and wide field. The name of this field is ‘the world’. After death, he
will enter his home country. Name of that home country is “the Day of
Resurrection, the next world”. At first, he will have to pass through the
stages of “the Grave, the General Resurrection, the Lamentation, reckoning of
Accounts, crossing the Bridge over which the righteous will pass to Heaven, and
the sinner and evildoer will drop down into the Fire of Hell” . Then he
will reach his home, which will be either Paradise or Hell.
The Paradise is the place of comfort, whereas the Hell is the place
of pain and restlessness.
Help one another unto righteousness and pious duty!. And help not one
another unto sin and transgression!
5: 3a. Forbidden unto you (for food) are carrion and blood and swine-flesh,
and that which has been dedicated unto any other than Allah, and the strangled,
and the dead through beating, and the dead through falling from a height, and
that which has been killed by (the goring of) horns, and the devoured of wild
beasts, saving that which you have slaughtered still alive. And that which has
been immolated unto idols is also forbidden. And (forbidden is it) that you
apportion by the divining arrows. This is an abomination.
5: 3b. This day are those who disbelieve in despair of (ever harming)
your religion; so fear them not, fear Me! This Day have perfected your
religion for you and completed My Favour unto you, and have chosen for you as
Religion Al-Islam. Whoso is forced by hunger, not by will, to sin; (for him)
lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
"And hold fast by the rope (Quran and hadith) of Allaah
(Almighty and His Messenger) all together and be not disunited".
6:165. He it is Who has placed you as viceroy of the earth and has
exalted some of you in rank above others, that He may try you by (the test of)
that which He has given you. Lo! Your Lord is Swift in prosecution, and lo! He
verily is Forgiving, Merciful.
The Most Important Social Principle of ISLAM is “BIDDING THE
GOOD & FORBIDDING THE EVIL”
122. And as for those who believe and do good works We shall bring
them into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide for
ever. It is a Promise from Allah in Truth. And who can be more truthful than
Allah in utterance?
125. And who is better in religion than he who surrenders his purpose to
Allah while doing good (to men) and follows the tradition of Abraham, the
upright? And Allah (Himself) chose Abraham for friend.
7:23. They said: Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves.

Lessons
# 996 to 1512 from Parts 9 to 12 of Holy Qur’an, Chapters: 7b. Remaining part of ‘A’-raaf
(The Height), 8. Tawbah (Repentance), 9. ‘Anfaal (Spoils Of War),
10. Yuunus (Jonah), 11. Huud (Hud), and 12a. Some part of Yuusuf
(Joseph).
11: 114. Establish worship at the two ends of the day and in some watches
of the night. Lo! Good deeds annul ill-deeds. This is reminder for the mindful.
11: 115. And have patience. (O Muhammad), for lo! Allah loses not the
wages of the Good.
[In accordance with this commandment, Messenger of God Almighty (grace, glory,
blessings and peace be upon him) established two prayers in the first part of
the day {(Fajr – (the dawn of the day) and Zuhr –
midday (the time immediately after the declining of the sun)}, one prayer in
the last part of the day {‘Asr (afternoon prayer)}, and two prayers
in the first part of the night {Magrib – (evening prayer) and ‘Ishaa’ –
(the prayer of the first watch of the night)}.
9: 18. He only shall tend Allah’s sanctuaries who believes in Allah and
the Last Day and observes proper Worship and pays the Poor-due and fears none
save Allah; for such (only) is it possible that they can be of the rightly
guided.
9: 23. O you who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for
friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. And whoso of you
takes them for friends, such are wrongdoers.
9: 24. Say: If your fathers, and your sons, and your brethren, and your
wives, and your tribe, and the wealth you have acquired, and merchandise for
which you fear that there will no sale, and dwellings you like are dearer to
you than Allah and His Messenger and striving in His Way; then wait till Allah
brings His command to pass. And Allah guides not wrongdoing folk.
9: 31. They have taken as lords beside Allah their rabbis and their monks
and the Messiah son of Mary, and they were bidden to worship only One God.
There is no God save Him. Be He Glorified from all that they ascribe as
partners (unto Him)!
38. O you who believe! What ails you that when it is said unto you: Go
forth in the Way of Allah, you are bowed down to the ground with heaviness.
Take you pleasure in the life of the world rather than in the Hereafter? The
provision of the life of the world is but little than in the Hereafter.
39. If you go not forth He will afflict you with a painful doom, and will
choose instead of you a folk other than you, and you cannot harm Him at all.
And Allah is Able to do all things.
9:71. And the Believers, men and women, are protecting friends one of
another. They enjoin the right and forbid the wrong, and they establish worship
and they pay the poor-due, and they obey Allah and His Messenger. As for these,
Allah will have mercy on them. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Wise.
9: 111. Lo! Allah has bought from the believers their lives and their
wealth because the Garden will be theirs. They fight in the Way of Allah and so
they slay and are slain. It is a promise which is binding on Him in the Torah
and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who fulfills his covenant better than
Allah? Rejoice then in your bargain that you have made. And that is the supreme
triumph.
9:112. (Triumphant) are those who turn repentant (to Allah), those who
serve (Him), those who praise (Him), those who journey (in the earth), those
who bow down, those who fall prostrate, (in worship), those who enjoin the
right and who forbid the wrong and those who guard the limits of Allah. And
give glad tidings to Believers.
10: 34. Say: Is there of your partners (whom you ascribe unto Allah) one
that produces the first Creation and then reproduces it? Say: Allah produces
the first Creation, then reproduces it. How then, are you misled!

Some Verses from Surah Joseph: 54. And the king said: Bring him
unto me that I may attach him to my person. Then when he had talked with him he
said: Lo! You are today in our presence honourable and trusted.
55. He said: Set me over the storehouses of the land. Lo! I am a skilled
custodian.
56. Thus gave We power to Joseph in the land. He was the owner of it, so
that might settle therein where he wished. We bestow Our Mercy on whom We will
and We lose not the reward of the good.
57. And the reward of the Hereafter is better, for those who believe and
ward off (evil).
58. And Joseph’s brethren came and presented themselves before him, then
he recognized them but they remained unaware of him.
59. And when he provided them with their provision he said: Bring unto me
a brother of yours from your father. See you not that I fill up the measure and
I am the best of hosts?
64. He said: Can I entrust him to you save as I entrusted his brother to
you aforetime? So Allah is Better at Guarding, and He is the Most Merciful of
those who show mercy.
65. And when they opened their belongings they discovered that their
merchandise had been returned to them. They said: O our father! What (more) can
we ask? Here is our merchandise returned to us. And we shall get provision for
our folk and guard our brother, and we shall have the extra measure of a camel
(load). This (that we bring now) is a light measure.
66. He said: I will not send him with you till you give me an undertaking
in the name of Allah that you will bring him back to me, unless you are
surrounded. So when they gave him their undertaking he said: Allah is the
Warden over what we say.
67. And he said: O my sons! Go not in by one gate, go in by different
gates. I can naught avail you as against Allah. Lo! The decision rests with
Allah only. In Him do I put my trust, and in Him let all the trusting put their
trust.
68. And when they entered in the manner which their father had enjoined,
it would have naught availed them as against Allah; it was but a need of
Jacob’s soul which he thus satisfied. And lo! He was a lord of knowledge
because We had taught him; but most of mankind know not.
69. And when they went in before Joseph, he took his brother unto him,
saying: Lo! I, even I, am your brother, therefore sorrow not for what they did.
70. And when he provided them with their provision, he put the drinking-cup
in his brother’s saddlebag, and then a crier cried: O camel-riders! Lo! You are
surely thieves!
71. They asked, coming toward them: What is it you have lost?
72. They said: We have lost the king’s cup, and he who brings it shall
have a camel-load, and I (said Joseph) am answerable for it.
73. They said: By Allah, well you know we came not to do evil in the
land, and are no thieves.
74. They said: And what shall be the penalty for it, if you prove liars?

Authority of Prayers Five Times a Day (L-2023) 130: Therefore (O Muhammad),
bear with what they say, and celebrate the Praise of your Lord ere the rising
of the sun and ere the going down thereof. And glorify Him some hours of the
night and at the two ends of the day, that you may be well pleased. Those
mosques (Masaajid) are particular places of the appearance of the Light
which are constructed by means of Prophets (peace be upon them) and Allaah’s
virtuous slaves, and it has been commanded that after their construction, those
should be preserved, looked after and treated with respect. And those houses
should be kept clean and clear from impurity and thickness, and the name of Allaah
Almighty should be remembered therein. So those slaves of Allaah
Almighty, who seek His pleasure, assemble for His congregational worship, hymn
and praise of Him. First time of their gathering is early in the morning, and
then with effect from afternoon to before next day’s morning. In the morning (guduwwi)
- come all Fajr to before Zuhar compulsory and voluntary prayers,
but in the evening (‘aasaal) - come all Zuhar to before next
day’s Fajr - compulsory and voluntary prayers, as Zuhar, ‘Asr,
Magrib, ‘Ishaa’ compulsory (Farz) prayers including
voluntary prayers as Nafl and Tahajjad etc.
It is commanded: You people can remain chaste and pure when you give up
thinking evil. Spreading immodesty and talking about shameful matters cannot be
the work of anyone else but only those who are wicked and immoral people. It is
the means of preventive measure against indecency and evil that when thought of
these misfortunes grow in mind, that should not be spoken with any other. And
if any such thing comes out by the tongue heedlessly, then one should recite لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ (there is no power and no strength except
with Allaah) and استغفار istiġfār
{(AstaghfirUllaah) (I seek forgiveness of Allaah). And it should
never be talked before the people, because spreading the indecency is the act
of the Hypocrites, not of the Believers. The Believers do never accuse any
other without proof. You should bear in mind that the people who spread the
evil, talk of the immodesty and accuse falsely to others by name, they will be
overtaken by calamities in the world, and on the Day of Resurrection. A painful
torment will be for them who will disgrace any other by violence. He will be
disgraced certainly, scourged with stripes, his evidence will not be reliable
and after death he will be tormented painfully in addition. Allaah
Almighty is Well Aware of the wicked people. You don’t know treacheries of
hypocrites.

alaihi wasallam), Ka’ab bin Ujrah (Radi Allaahu anhu), narrates that once it was
inquired from Sayyiduna RasoolUllaah (SallAllaahu alaihi wasallam) as to how blessings

alaihi wasallam) replied that the blessings be said in the manner
(it has been mentioned) above, that is, Durood-e-Ibrahimi.
