(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

58. And those who fled
their homes for the Cause of Allah and then were slain or died, Allah verily
will provide for them a good provision. And lo! Allah, He verily is Best of
all who make provision.
59. Assuredly He will
cause them to enter by an entry that they will love. And lo! Allah verily is
Knower, Indulgent.

Commentary
It is commanded in the previous verse that those people will be
sent into the Gardens of Delight who will believe in Allaah Almighty and
do good works. However the people who will disbelieve in Allaah Almighty
and deny His Revelations, for them will be such shameful Doom, from which they
will find no shelter.
Allaah Almighty commands in these verses: Which good works can be
done, one of them is “flight from one’s native land and leaving behind
everything for the Cause and Pleasure of Allaah Almighty”. It is very
great good work. Allaah Almighty knows that the Muslims have been undergoing
afflictions with patience in Makkah, but they are not permitted to
fight. At that time, they obeyed the commandment of Allaah Almighty
wholeheartedly. Then they were commanded that they should migrate for Madinah,
so they left everything in Makkah and fled for the Cause of Allaah
Almighty without wrangling.
Good news is for such people that Allaah Almighty loves very
much the obedience of His servants. By having belief and doing good works, they
set up best example of good works. After that, if they are killed in a battle
against infidels or die naturally, in both forms, Allaah Almighty will
give them good requital. He is well Aware of their mind and deeds, and He will pardon
their errors, because He is Indulgent and Mild. And He will cause to arrive
them at such place which will be liked by them. He knows also that which kind
of place they like. Therefore He has kept ready for every individual a pleasing
place in accordance with their choice. And after death; they will be provided
their chosen place immediately.
