Commentary
Allaah Almighty bestowed Prophet-hood to Moses and
his brother Aaron (peace be upon them) both, and after that; He commanded to
Moses (peace be upon him): Go now along with your brother and remember Me in
all conditions. You should never be negligent or careless from My Remembrance. It
is your duty that you should go unto Pharaoh, the King of Egypt. He has
transgressed the bounds. He tyrannizes the helpless people and disregards every
individual.
Moses (peace be upon him) was aware of the temperament of
Pharaoh. He requested: we both brothers are afraid of Pharaoh because he is arrogant
and perhaps he either would not let us to go unto himself or be enraged after
hearing incomplete saying, then he may tyrannize us or command to kill us.
After that it was commanded: you should not fear in this matter.
I am with you every time. I hear your every saying and see your every deed. I
shall be hearing entire conversation among you and Pharaoh. I shall be seeing
Pharaoh’s behavior with you. Don’t worry and do your duty unhesitatingly.
Good servants of Allaah Almighty ask for His help in
difficulties when they observe that they are weak, and He helps them.
