Commentary
‘Iddun – (disastrous, calamitous, grave), in Arabic language, any
great misfortune is called ‘iddun. Its plural is ‘idawun.
Takhiru – (falling), this word has come out from khirrun,
which means “to fall all at once”. Past tense of the same is kharra,
which has passed in Suratul-‘A’raaf.
Haddun – (the heavy body which when falls, a sound is heard, that is
called “haddun). We say it “to fall in ruins”.
Some people say that God Almighty has children, and it is the right
of the children that they should be included in the rank and dignity of the
father. Being entangled in this misunderstanding, they begin to say about any great
mankind that he or she is son or daughter of God. Then they begin to worship
him/her. Concerning it, it is commanded that this is such terrible idea that if
Allah Almighty would not be Kind and Merciful, then at the spot; almost the heavens would have been torn, and
the earth would have been split asunder and the mountains would have fallen in
ruins.
Allah Almighty, Who is the Beneficent,
and before Whom the entire universe has been adoring, He is entirely Free from
having children and helpers. Children are required to only those needy and
feeble people who can do nothing without support of others or during old age
they become indigent of other people. Allah Almighty is Pure from all such
weaknesses.
