Quran Chapter 34: Intro (Pt-22, Stg-5) (L-2626) درس قرآن

Introduction

Chapter “SABAA’” - (Saba) - 34

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

With regard to the established order of Holy Qur’an, it is its Thirty Fourth Chapter which contains Six Sections. Saba is a Division of Yemen which has been mentioned in this Chapter. This Chapter was revealed during primary times of stay at Makkah. It has been warned particularly in this Surah to the people who forget worse consequence of the Hereafter; being involved in worldly pleasures. And they can be entangled in any great misfortune due to their carelessness, even in this world too.

It was described to the People of Makkah that they should not forget the life after death on the Day of Resurrection. All mankind will be brought back to life and their deeds will be reckoned. Those who would be proved gone astray, they verily will be tormented very severely. For wakening the human being from the dream of carelessness, at first the story of Prophets David and Solomon (peace be upon them) were caused to hear that they remained grateful slaves of Allaah Almighty being rich of His blessings, and prosperity could not ensnare them in ignorance. Known from it; is that the mankind can become a good servant even in the prosperity.

After that, circumstances of the people of Saba have been explained that they had everything abundant in their possession, but they were ingrate. Accordingly they were entrapped in the severities, but they were enraged more than earlier. At last they were ruined.

The people should learn from above mentioned both stories. You should obey Allaah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). Your betterment is in it that you should not give yourselves airs due to wealth and virtue. Take from it work of welfare for the best creature of Allaah Almighty, that is to say, humankind. Hold fast the Instructions of Holy Qur’an, lest the strong people become base of destruction of the feeble. They, who are in good condition to some extent, should support their needy brothers, lest due to them, those are entangled more in afflictions who already are in trouble. Being proud of power, wealth and descendants; teasing others is the work below the level of humanity. Listen to the Revelations of Holy Qur’an, obey the Sayings of the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). The death can finish only this life, but we all would have to come in the grip of the next life (the life in the Hereafter).
