Commentary
The people, who remained unmindful from Allaah Almighty
during their worldly life, when they will be reproduced on the Day of
Resurrection, then they will see nothing. They will run toward the Sound of
Trumpet like blind and mad people. However, they will have this perception
certainly that “we have been going to be present before our Lord”. But they
will not be able to see anything with their eyes that “where they are and where
are they going?” Every one of them will say with astonishment: O Lord! I had
eyes in the world. I could see everything satisfactorily. What has happened
with me here that I have been galloping and can see nothing?
It is found that the Real Light is acquired by means of Allaah
Almighty. Apparent ayes are not able to discover the Reality. These eyes will
be finished by death. And due to lack of the Light of Cognizance (Noor-e-Ma’rafat),
the disbeliever will not be able to see the things of that Real World in the
beginning, where he will be after coming to life again. Then he will cry: Ah!
What has happened with my eyes? I cannot see anything that where have I been
running?
But because the Root of Cognizance exists in the nature of human
being, so although that (Cognizance) remained suppressed due to unreasonable
wishes during worldly life, then that will begin to awake after death gradually.
In the beginning, due to adversity of evil desires, the disbeliever will see
nothing. But after that; the effect of environments will come into being slowly
and gradually. And he will begin to see the Court of The Great Lord,
consequence of his carelessness; nature and accounts of own deeds, the Heaven
and the Hell etc. in short everything of that World. And then repentance due to
wicked deeds and wonder will be begun.
