Commentary
The human beings like to live together mutually. They feel fear
when they are alone. They desire to speak and hear from others. In conversation
they feel pleasure. Stories and tales remained their hobbies always. Holy Qur’an
desires that they should not waste their time in useless tales and fables, and
there should be something useful for the speaker and the hearer whatever comes
out from the mouth of the mankind. Such matters exist in the verses of Holy Qur’an.
In this Chapter, it has been described that if the mankind will
recite and cause these verses to hear others, he can acquire benefits of the
both worlds. But alas! Most of the people do not hear these verses, or if they
hear; they do not reap advantage. Listen! These verses are of such Scripture,
entire commandments of which are correct in all respects. No useless and redundant
matter has been mentioned in it. If the mankind will reflect into its
Commandments carefully, he will find full guidance and mercy. However only those
people will reap advantage from Holy Qur’an who do good works, keep
their duty to Allaah Almighty, establish worship, pay the poor-due and
charity for the help of needy people and believe in the Day of Resurrection. Allaah
Almighty will give them suitable remuneration of their such works. These are
the people who are on the Straight Path which Allaah Almighty has
determined for them. And these will be successful in the both worlds.
