Commentary
The Natural Religion for mankind is that - he should believe in Allaah Almighty Who is a Paramount Power; a Lord and a God, serve Him, choose those good works to do for which He has commanded to do, and abstain from such wicked deeds from which He has forbidden. Doing against His commandment will become cause of afflictions and one will surely be punished. Actual Day of punishment is the Day of Resurrection, but those who break the Natural Law, are punished even in this world too, due to which great calamities come upon the mankind.
Accordingly, by breaking the Natural Law; human beings were entangled in big misfortunes and will be entangled in future also. After looking worldly disasters, one should give up ascribing plurality to Allaah Almighty, oppressing innocent people, immodesty and shameless matters. Dreadful circumstances of ancient people are before him. Signs of their destruction have been spreading everywhere in the world. Those, who withdrew themselves from doing good works and who were habitual of committing evils, were among the ruined people. Most of them were involved in the root of the entire evils, that is to say, belief in a plurality of God Almighty. Alas! These people have made a source of amusement to the stories of those people, and instead of taking warning from their circumstances; they read them like fables by giving it name “the History”, and they also have been involved entirely in the same evils in which old people were involved and due to which they were destroyed. Alas! What they had to do and what they have been doing.
