The Day of Resurrection
is sure
Chapter “RUUM” - (THE ROMANS) - 30
‘A-‘uu-zu Billaahiminash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

ٱللَّهُ يَبْدَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُۥ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ 11 وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يُبْلِسُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ 12 وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُم مِّن شُرَكَآئِهِمْ شُفَعَٰٓؤُا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ بِشُرَكَآئِهِمْ كَٰفِرِينَ 13

11. Allah produceth creation, then He
reproduceth it, then unto Him ye will be returned.
12. And in the Day when the Hour riseth the
guilty will despair.
13. And there will be none to intercede for
them of those whom they made equal with Allah. And they will reject their
partners (whom they ascribed unto them).

11. ‘Allaahu
Yabda-‘ul-khalqa summa Yu-‘iiduhuu
summa ‘ilayHi turja-‘uun.
12. Wa
Yawma taquumus-Saa-‘atu yublisul-mujrimuun.
13. Wa
lam yakul-lahum-min Shurakaaa-‘ihim shufa-‘aaa-‘u wa
kaanuu bi-Shurakaaa-‘ihim kaafiriin.

Commentary
The people used to reject the Day of
Resurrection and say: How the human body will be reproduced after its
destruction? They were unable to understand that while the entire body parts would
become dust, and the dust of the body would be mixed up with the entire dust of
the earth, then these human bodies, which are beyond calculation, would be brought
back to life in their original forms and they would stand up. By observing in a
cursory manner it seemed to them difficult and they used to steal away from
thinking deeply; for the reason that they used to like worldly engagements and
dislike thinking about such matters; by leaving their employments, in which
they used to consider that there was no benefit.
In these verses, it is being described to
them: There is no need to think carefully about understanding the maxim of “next
life after death”. It is a matter of common sense that new human beings are
being born before you. Their bodies were not created in advance, then how did
they come into existence? What is difficult in its acceptance that as their
bodies did not exist earlier but they were created, like this, being perished
after birth, they will be reproduced?
It is commanded: Give up all disputes! It is a
simple thing that - as Allaah
Almighty is, Who creates first time while He does not have any sample, like
this He will reproduce also after death and destruction, because even now a
sample too exists before Him. Believe in Him and have faith that all of you
will be reproduced by the Divine Power of Allaah
Almighty and the Day of Resurrection will be established. On that Day, His disobedient
people will be victims of extremely hopelessness. Their self-made gods will not
be able to help them or intercede for them. And their adorers will say
themselves that these are not their gods.
