Commentary
It is commanded: The house which is neither in particular possession
of any person and nor it has been built for living of any particular
individual, and nor there is any restriction for entrance of any person, but it
is open for all, in such house you can enter without permission, as any Mosque,
an Inn or any Monastery etc. There is no trouble in entering such place. You can
reap suitable advantage from it, but bear in mind that neither it should be
damaged and nor your intention should be to reap improper advantage from it. Endowed
and the things of charity are for use of all people publicly. Either taking their
possession or letting the people not to reap advantage from them or trying to
cause to profit oneself only – all such matters are disallowed. You can benefit
from them only as much as other people can reap advantage.
Remember it! Allaah Almighty knows your apparent deeds as
well as your secret intentions. You should never think to deprive of others
from the benefits of the thing useful for common people and to reap advantage
yourself only.
After that, very useful rules have been described for keeping
the society chaste from wicked deeds. At first, Muslim men have been instructed
that they should be habituated of keeping their gaze low and control their
wishes. Bear in mind that any bashful act is not committed by your private body
parts. If you see without thinking any attractive face, then you should change your
looking direction immediately and should not see on that side again.
