Commentary
The people, who withdrew from Allaah Almighty; turned
away from His Commandments; and began to adore the gods; fabricated by their
own hands, they will neither get any sort of real comfort and ease in the world
and nor on the Day of Resurrection. This decision concerning them has been
caused to hear in the previous verses. Similarly, concerning another kind of
people, it has been commanded also that they too will not reap any advantage
save the loss of the both Worlds. These are the people who worship Allaah
Almighty till they are provided the things agreeable to their mind. Such people
stand upon a narrow Marge, and as soon as they are afflicted; they run away forthwith
unto the other side, and turn away from the worship of Allaah Almighty.
It is commanded: Those people who believed in Allaah
Almighty and did righteous works continuously, for them are Gardens for
dwelling during the next life; underneath which the rivers will be flowing in
every region. Allaah Almighty has arranged for them; by His grace and
favor; all comfortable things. To punish the wrongdoers; and reward the
righteous and the obedient is not difficult for Him. He has intended to do so. And
there is no one who may prevent Him from doing that which He intends.
