Chapter “Mu’-minuun” – (The Believers) - 23

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

قُل لِّمَنِ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَمَنفِيهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ 84  سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُونَ 85  قُلْ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ ٱلسَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ 86  سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ 87  

84.  Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 85.  They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 86.  Say: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? 87.  They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)?

84.  Qul-Limanil-‘arzu  wa  man  fii-haaa  ‘in-  kuntum  ta’-lamuun. 85.  Sa-yaquuluuna  Lillaah.  Qul  ‘afalaa  tazakkaruun. 86.  Qul  mar-Rabbus-samaa-waatis-sab’-i  wa  Rabbul-‘Arshil-‘Aziim. 87.  Sa-yaquuluuna  Lillaah. Qul  ‘afalaa  tattaquun.

Commentary

It has been caused to understand in these verses in a fine way that you praise Allaah Almighty but have doubt in the life after death. It is a sign of this matter that you did not know Allaah Almighty carefully and did not reflect in the portents of His Omnipotence. These portents have been spreading everywhere.

It is commanded: If you know then tell: Unto Whom belongs this earth and Who is Lord of it and those all who live on it? It is obvious that they will not be able to answer save it that these entire things belong to Allaah Almighty.

O Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Say to them after that! While you know these all matters then can you not understand that when He is Lord of the entire earth and all of them who live on it, then He can reproduce you from its ingredients also as He produced you first time. Found from it is that you did not use your sense properly and did not draw as a correct conclusion from the known things.

Ask from them after it: Who is Lord of the seven heavens, and Lord of the Tremendous Throne? They will not have any reply save it too that Absolute Emperor is Allaah Almighty only. Then you should say to them: it is a surprising thing that you do not fear from disobeying the Greatest and Strongest Sovereign. You are so much great arrogant that you slight from His commandments. If He punish you due to your arrogance and disobedience, then in whom will you seek shelter, whereas everything is humble before Him?
