Commentary
A bad saying is
opposite to a goodly saying, in which such sayings are included by which
powerlessness of Allah Almighty appears and refusal of His Existence becomes
manifest. It is like that tree which does not possess any root and stability.
It can be uprooted by hand easily any time by any one. Its fruit is tasteless,
bitter, thorny and acrimonious.
All evil acts,
reciprocal abuse, obscenity, garrulity, quarrels and disputes etc. are parts of
such forest, fruit of which is bitter and useless.
In this verse,
ignorant people of the world have been caused to understand that actual power
is in Belief. The Believers do not shake from their standing place. Allah
Almighty keeps them steadfast in the world and in the Hereafter (in all
conditions). However, those who do not want to understand, Allah Almighty does
not show them Straight Path. He has Power of all kinds and can do what He
desires. The person, who will not obey the Commandments of God Almighty, will
go astray.
