Influence of Revelations

Surah ‘TAWBAH or BARAAA-‘AH (REPENTANCE) – Chapter – 9)

Stage – 2, Verse –124 of 129, Section – 16 of 16 (Part 1/4^th of – 11)

                                                                        

BisMillaahir-Rahmaanir-Rahiim

In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

                                                                                       

124.  And whenever a Suurah is revealed there are some of them who say: The faith of which one of you hath thus, increased? As for those who believe, it hath indeed added to their faith and they rejoice (therefor).

124.  Wa  ‘izaa  maaa  ‘unzilat  Suuratun-  famin-hum-many-yaquulu  ‘ayyu-kum  zaadat-hu  haa-zihiii  ‘ii-maanaa.  Fa-‘am-mallaziina  ‘aamanuu  fazaadat-hum  ‘iimaananw-wa  hum  yastab-shiruun.

                                                                             

Lesson

One more type of behavior of those, who do not believe, has been described in this verse. Such people had been born in the primary stage of Islam, and after that, they used to be born in every times, and apparently it seems that they will be born continuously in future.

Those people, in whose hearts, Islam was totally valueless, such people are found, not only in Islam, but in every system, every religion and every party, who consider that law and order, organization and arrangement, even everything is meaningless. These kinds of people are like weevil for every society and community. If any community does not contain sincere, intelligent and faithful people, then its destruction is certain through such people.

It was explained earlier that such kind of people did exist in Madinah and its vicinity. Now it is commanded that whenever any Chapter of Holy Qur’aan is revealed, the Hypocrites say – one to any other: Hello! How much your belief did increase by this Suurah. Or they say to some simple and straight Muslims: How much belief has been added by this Chapter?

Actually their aim is to rally the Chapters of Holy Qur’aan and tell the people: There is nothing in it. Replying to their absurdity, the actual matter has been caused to understand with very ease and forbearance, for those people, who have believed and pay full attention unto Allah Almighty wholeheartedly. They see openly the tokens of fulfillment of the promises of Allah Almighty, satisfaction of their hearts and real comfort of life in these Chapters. Their hopes come into their sight duly fulfilled which they have with God Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), and their hearts pay attention in obedience of the commandments of Allah Almighty with more certainty and satisfaction.
