God’s plotting
Surah Ra-‘d (The Thunder) - 13
‘A-‘uu-zu
Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

وَقَدْ مَكَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلِلَّهِ ٱلْمَكْرُ جَمِيعًايَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ وَسَيَعْلَمُ ٱلْكُفَّٰرُ لِمَنْ عُقْبَى ٱلدَّارِ 42
|
42. And those who were
before them plotted; but all plotting is Allah’s. He knoweth that which each
soul earneth. The disbelievers will come to know for whom will be the sequel
of the (heavenly) Home.

42. Wa qad
makaral-laziina min qab-lihim
fa-Lillaahil-makru
jamii-‘aa. Ya’-lamu maa
taksibu kullu nafs.
Wa sa-ya’-lamul-kuffaaru liman
‘Uqbad-Daar.

Commentary
It is commanded
that many people before these; have passed in the past. These are not the first
generation who has settled here. You should think for awhile, where have they gone?
They arranged for their security as much as possible by using their power and
sense; and then satisfied being proud that “now we are safe, we shall suffer no
injury”.
According to their
knowledge, they had completed their plotting for achieving their aims, but they
were careless from the plotting of Allah Almighty, whereas all plotting is of
Him only. They inherited nothing because they denied Allah Almighty. And their
entire arrangements had been useless.
At last, that
happened which Allah Almighty willed and those people reached the recompense
for their evil done. You should understand it carefully that Allah Almighty is
well Aware of every individual’s good or evil deeds and He will punish the evil
doers in accordance with His prescribed Rule. And He will give good reward to
those who are good and believers.
At this time, these
people are in unconscious sleep, but after some period, they will know that who
did succeed in the Hereafter and who failed. God bless all.
