16b. Say: Is the blind
man equal to seer; or is darkness equal to light? Or assign they unto Allah
partners who created the like of His creation so that the creation (which
they made and His creation) seemed alike to them? Say: Allah is the Creator
of all things, and He is the One, the Almighty.

Commentary
It is commanded: While there is none equal to Allah
Almighty; and nor there is any individual who have divine power like Him, then
assigning any one equal to Him is like determining a blind man equal to a seer
or considering that darkness and light are equal. Is there any person who has
created any creation as God Almighty has created? While no one has created any
such creation as He created, then what is the doubt? That Creator Who created
all creations, is Allah Almighty. Therefore, He commands to His last Messenger;
Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him): Declare openly that
Creator of the entire things is God Almighty and He is One in His Nature and
Epithets. There is none equal to Him. All things of the world are in His
possession.
